I like your tutorials, but this one is meh. I really don't like losing all the details in the shadows of her pants. It's too flat in the end. You should mask those critical areas. Keep up the good work.
Genuinely curious (ergo not just being facetious): Would this particular job not be easier in Lightroom? You have the same colour adjustments, you can do effectively the same thing as the levels with the tone curve and (the kicker if you like) the radial filter seems a much more economic way of creating the custom vignette.
I just found out about this channel a few weeks ago, and I can tell you guys that your tutorials are very easy to follow for beginners like me, thanks a lot!
I don't know why but *Aaron Nace* seems to be very happy and also funny while making tutorials for us. And for this reason, we can learn anything with so much fun from him. Thanks for making learning fun. 🖤
Instead of applying a blur on the layermask to create the "vignet" I always use the feather function on the layermask. There is a slider so you can always make small adjustments later if needed.
i like this look alot. this is the fast and easy way to get it done, but if i use the gaussian blur there is a halo effect afterwards. it makes no difference if i get this done on 8 or 16bit. i also checked on a different screen and another device. it's still there.
I understands that there are many ways to do the same thing in photo shop. That said it makes sense to me that I could do the same exact thing in raw in a non destructive manner.
Ok please assist with my photoshop problem for a few years now I have been using photoshop for the purpose of adding colored arrows onto photos. Now something strange just happened. When I try to put an arrow on my photo, despite choosing the colour I get no colour in the arrow. All I get is a black pencil outline of an arrow and no colour in it. Can you please advise as to get it back as it was before.
