How to create tabs off of shapes in Inkscape 

This video is from a question asked to me about creating a jig to hold corks and bottle caps in a laser engraving machine. I will be using a number of different features and tips that will be useful in many scenarios.
I apologize for sound quality. The channel was spur of the moment, and I don't have a headset. So, we are using a built-in microphone until I get the headset. This microphone picks up feedback better than it picks up my voice. Once I get headsets, future videos will have much better sound quality.
