How to crochet a super easy stroller or car seat cuddle baby blanket. Keep your little one warm with this jumbo, chunky yarn. The yarn is 7 weight jumbo from Hobby Lobby. Brand of the yarn is Baby Bee, and the color is Cuddly One - Fast Asleep.
A skein of this yarn is 8 oz. / 226 g / 33 yards / 1 m - Jumbo 7.
Crochet Hook Size:
US - 15 mm crochet hook - P/Q crochet hook
UK - 15 mm crochet hook - 0 crochet hook
For my project I used 5 skeins. My finished project for this car seat cuddle blanket measured 30 X 36 inches. This can be used for a stroller or car seat. If you are going to make it as a blanket, I would suggest purchasing additional skeins of yarn. Also, depending on your crochet hook and the tension you crochet with you may need more yarn than I used.

I always crochet into the back ridge (I call it the back "nub") too. Even if you add a border, it's much easier to crochet the border into the "V"s of the foundation chain. Neater and easier. Lovely little blanket!

Thank you for going slow enough and explaining exactly what to do. I always have trouble understanding the “crochet two” at the end and then where to make the first stitch after the end.

Thank you for the great video! The only thing I’m missing is how many chains for the size blanket you are making. The 36”! Is it multiples of 2 with extra chains? Thank you so much!!

I measured the width and chained until I reached 36” and added 2 chains.

You said that if you make a mistake to be careful and use both hands to pull it out. If the yarn is that delicate, how will you be able to wash it, and also, don’t you have to worry about it pulling off and the baby putting it in their mouth and choking on it? Thank you.

No it’s not that delicate that it would tear apart and you. An easily wash it. You have to hold it so it can easily frog.
