New mom of twin boys here! I’ve been wanting to make them bears for a while now and I’m so glad I came across this video. Everything was explained very clearly, thank you!
I made one of thicker yarn and a bigger hook for my granddaughter. I put cat ears on it and gave it to her birthday which was Dec 29. I made one of a thinner tan yarn and size 3.5 hook and and now making a white with a sparkle in it using the 3.5 hook. It's almost finished. I'm having so much fun. Thank you for posting this tutorial. Now it's January 21, 2022. Still loving this pattern so much. I have tried some others but they just don't satisfy me like this one ☺️. I have made it in a variety of brands, thicknesses and colors. My last one I used Serenity Chunky and used two strands with a K hook. The results was a bear 15" tall. I wrote the instructions out on paper so can always refer to it.
I'm having so much anxiety. I've made a velvet Bunny and I'm dreading sewing it together. Specially the ears. I believe I'm going to do the ears the way you've done these years. So now I'm feeling a little more relaxed.😊
I went looking to make something new. Fortunately, your video popped up. He's so cute! I enjoyed watching you crochet, and i think it will be easy for me to follow along.
thank you soo very much .. i just finished mine .. I had some fears of making rings & balls .. but turned out to be easy & fun .. thank you for this amazing video ..

Adorable! It seems a lot of online retailers have Caron One Pound on sale today so I got a few skeins and can't wait to try out your patterns! Thanks so much for taking the time to make tutorials! :-)
I've been reading the comments and noticed that some people want to make this for their children/grandchildren and more, meanwhile I'm here watching this so I can make one for myself XD.

I am definitely going to do this gor my grandson! Your tutorials are the best, and you keep me engaged, as there are many videos here on RU-vid that either bore me to tears, or they're just not clear, so I move on til I find one I'm satisfied with. Thank you for guving me the desire to do Amigurumi projects, I look forward to your videos now. P.s....do you use these basic crochet doll bodies as as base for all your Avengers, superheroes and mermaid dolls?
Would it be possible to show us how to make a bunny? These are super cute and I really wanna make my favorite animal. Your videos are awesome and easy to follow along to, but if you don’t want to that’s okay, just keep doing what you love. 😊
For the head, when you say “do 5 sc and then sc decrease, and that’s the pattern repeat,” do you mean do 5 sc, 5 sc decrease 5sc 5 sc decrease all the way around for that round? Or is it just 5 sc and then for the rest of the round all sc decrease? It’s not clear.
I’m ordering some safety eye now, or can you use even clothing buttons? I have brown wool in size 4mm, I’m thinking to make one for my 4 year old son♥️
Hi. After the magic circle and increasing the stitches (round 1 and round 2) do you turn it over? I find I'm crocheting inside the circle but you seem to be crocheting on the outside (of that makes sense). Also my tail never seems to end up in the middle of the magic circle. Can you please shed light on what I am doing wrong? Thanks
Thank you so much for your video. It's so clearly and basic for the beginer like me! But I want to crochet biger bear. About 30-40cm. I don't know how to do :((((
I have a few skeins of yarn I would like to use for this pattern, but I am not sure they are "4 ply". They are 4 and 5 oz. and they are saying I should use a 5.5 m crochet hook. If I use a 4 mm crochet hook, will that be okay?
No because this project works in the round if you were just chaining stitches that weren't in a magic ring and you had to sc then yes you would have to chain 1
