This is the easiest tutorial ever!! I tried to make one before following a different one, let’s just say it didn’t work out. Your tutorial was SO SO easy to follow and simply explained!!! I’m in love with the final product!
I made this for my friend for her birthday, it’s a yellow sunflower hat, and it’s absolutely adorable. What a great pattern! And it’s so incredibly easy!!! Thank you!
GIRL!!! i just want to let you know that i finished the hat in only 13 hours thanks to your very comprehensive tutorial without the complicated magic ring-ish. Your voice is very soothing too, and the tutorial is super easy. You are the only video that is very easy to follow! True beginner-friendly! Thank you thank you thank you! 🙏
This tutorial is so great! I’m making this hat for my sister’s birthday, she loves Harry Styles and really wanted this kind of hat after she saw him wearing one
I’m a beginner at crochet, so this is a great tutorial! I’m gonna try and make this as a birthday gift for a friend, hope it turns out as cute as yours💖
@@yassuck i hope so too tbh🥺 btw may I ask how much does one square measure? my yarn is a bit different so I might need to add a row so it fits around the head!
I just finished my tote granny square bag now I want to do something else this video is so simple good explanation good colors will save this video for my next project
Love the vid, great effort MashaAllah. my fave tutorial for a bucket hat so far. the petals can be described as a cluster of 4 double crochet. Hope that helps ;) ps. your ends are driving me crazy though. they can be weaved in as you crochet. using the needle to weave the loose ends drove me nuts when I first started learning crochet.
Just a suggestion, leave longer tails so you can weave them in under more stitches. Sometimes, if you cut the tails short, it doesn’t leave enough tail to weave in to ‘anchor’ the yarn. It could unravel in the wash or with use. The hat is super cute. I’m going to make it for my daughter.
I love ur acct it really is a slowed down step by step and it's so easy to follow. I just got into crocheting literally 4 days ago and this is the first thing that i made. I'm really proud of my self and thank you so much for this I love ur acct so much and I followed 🥳💗💕
i didnt want to use the daisy pattern as it being it includes the magic circle which i struggle with, so instead im making the regular granny squares and hopefully it turns out just as cute as yours! I have made the first square in black because it is my friends birthday present and she looks slayyy in black. I hope she likes it when i finish it and give it to her! FINALLY IM DOING A CROCHET PROJECT!!!!!!!
Love this tutorial! Good explanation and simple instructions. Thank you! I finished mine but it came out too small but my toddler loves it! So I would call it a win. I used all cotton yarn so I think it was a bit thinner than yours and my hook was smaller so I am wondering it that was why. Because I am pretty sure you don’t have a toddler sized head. Haha
thank you so much for the tutorial! simple and really easy to follow :) i used a 4mm crochet hook and it fits but still turned out a bit small, think i’ll try making it with a third round of double crochets around each square to make it bigger!! its super pretty thank u hehe keep up the good work! p.s. you’re so pretty!!!
this is an absolutley adorable pattern !! i made it and I love it so much, its so cute. The only thing I did differently was add a third row onto all of the granny squares because I read through the comments and noticed some people saying it was a bit small for them, and I know that I have a bigger head so I wanted to make sure it fit. and it did! thanks so much for the tutorial! I'm gonna make one for my friend for Christmas and I think I'll give it to her in a bag made from your tote bag video :3
hi hi! I want to make mine bigger as well, my granny square is measuring at 4 inches. I'm new to crocheting and I was wondering what you mean exactly where you added a third row? After doubling crocheting the second time around?
@@daniellebrisebois160 hi ! so after the petals instead of doing two rows of square (the purple part) i added one more and did three. i used the exact same method as i did with the first two like she shows in the video. so starting from the second row (which is where she finishes in the video) you'll chain up the same amount as before and continue exactly like the previous rows. i think the only thing that will be different is the number of dumble crochet clusters on each side before you reach the corner stitch. i did this on all 5 squares. i hope this helps ! let me know if you would like me to clarify anything else :)
Thanks so much for this video! I’m going to the beach soon, and I’ve been wanting a bucket hat since it’s going to be really sunny. I love the colors of the bucket hat so much. I’m so excited to make this later today! This tutorial seems really easy and simple. I love the design so much. Keep up the great work!
Heyyaa do you know the measurements of the granny squares? I'm making this from a thinner yarn so my first attempt at this was very tiny :') Love this tutorial and very easy to follow 💛🧶 Edit. Found the measurements in the comments !! 5 inches in width
@@haleywebb1269 I made this a whole ago but I'm pretty sure I just added an extra row or two onto each granny square so that it would measure 5 squared inches!
Your video helped me so much not only with making the hat but my terminology is so much better now. Unfortunately my had is to CHONCY to fit the hat. But I really enjoyed making it so here goes take two!!
Thanks for tutorials!Easy & clear explanation.I would like to ask that the hat you made is for any size? How can I crochet for small one and large one and also measurement?
I’m on the border for the first square but it seems small but the same size of urs but I don’t think it will be small bc my stiches size look exact same as urs!! So excited to see how this turns out
Brooooo ri so I only had 4mm yarn so I used a 4mm hook ye so I followed the tutorial but my squares came out so small so I added another row of DC to make the squares bigger and my phat head still didn't fit😭 love the tutorial to super clear and helpful❤❤
It's literally 6:26 am in the morning and it's my first time ever doing crochet 😀 and I'm just sobbing at this point, like what the hell do I make???😭😭😭
I feel you that was me at the start!! Starting with granny squares and bucket hats is great because they are really simple and you learn lots of basic techniques! Good luck!!
I just practiced making scarves because when I was learning different patterns or stitches in general, I found that anything that required attaching or stitching yarn together was too much for me to handle LOL 🤯🤯🤯 I made so many scarves, then practiced making flowers, circle scarves (I learned to make snoods for my sister’s dog), and then I moved on to this :)
For those who are struggling with a small hat - make another row around each of the granny squares. If you have already cut off the existing yarn, you can simply start by doing the same thing she did (tie a knot, then add the row). hope this helps! yarn will stretch, so once all the granny squares are connected, it should work fine :)
