3.25mm crochet hook
6mm safety eyes (1 pair)
Black embroidery thread
Green worsted weight yarn (I use the brand Loops & Thread’s Impeccable Yarn in the shade Citron)
Fiberfill stuffing
Scissors
Yarn needle
Sewing pins (optional)
Stitch markers (optional)

I haven’t picked up a crochet hook in over 3 years, and couldn’t remember how to do anything besides a simple chain. I didn’t have the right yarn, or the right size hook for this tutorial. I used a paper clip instead of a stitch marker, cotton instead of the filling, and sewed the eyes on with simple black thread because I didn’t have the safety eyes either. Despite all this, the frog still turned out really cute, all thanks to your amazing and easy-to-follow tutorial! I wanted to give a gift to my friend, and this frog was perfect

for anyone who doesn’t have a sewing hook, you can make one with a paper clip, just shape it, for the pins you can also straighten out paper clips, for the stuffing, you can rip cotton pads apart or take some out from an unwanted stuffed animal, for the eyes, you can make a knot with black thread ,hope this helps!:))

ik this is a bit late but i just stumbled across this video and wanted a written version of this pattern, so i figured it could help other ppl too eyes (make 2): -row 1: 6 sc into magic circle (6) -ss into first sc to end round -row 2: inc x 6 (12) -row 3: sc x 12 (12) -ss into next stitch, cut yarn into long strand to finish -add plastic eyes between 2nd and 3rd row arms and legs (make 4): -row 1: 5 sc into magic circle (5) -ss into first sc to end round -row 2: sc x 5 (5) -row 3: sc x 5 (5) -ss into next stitch, cut yarn into long strand to finish body: -row 1: 6 sc into magic circle (6) -ss into first sc to end round -row 2: inc x 6 (12) -row 3: [sc, inc] x 6 (18) -row 4: [sc x 2, inc] x 6 (24) -row 5: [sc x 3, inc] x 6 (30) -rows 6-10: sc x 30 (30) -now sew mouth onto frog (use black embroidery thread, place 4 rows down (prob watch video for this part)) -row 11: sc x 30 (30) -row 12: [sc x 3, dec] x 6 (24) -row 13: [sc x 2, dec] x 6 (18) -row 14: [sc, dec] x 6 (12) -begin stuffing now -row 15: dec x 6 (6) -ss in next stitch, cut yarn into long strand and fasten off -sew hole closed w/ yarn needle assembly: attach all pieces using yarn needle (watch vid for this part if you don't know how)

I made my own frog using pastel rainbow yarn and brought it to school because it's the perfect stress relieving friend. Everyone loved him and now I'm making some more. I'm currently making one for the girl I like using the most annoying velvety yarn (the things you do for love). I'm not sure why yours turned into a huge circle at first, but I hope to explain it better in future videos 🙏The only thing I can possibly think of is if you were doing only one single crochet in each of the 30 stitches around for rows 6 - 11, or if there were any accidental increases. I'm so glad you were able to figure it out in the end, though! Thank you for sticking with it!💖

Thank you for this tutorial! This was actually the first one I’ve ever followed. For other beginners out there, I think it’s good to know that there’s a yarn over (seen here) and a yarn under technique. Yarn under actually looks a lot more professional and clean for amigurumi!

In my newer tutorials I changed the way I show how to make magic circles because I got feedback that this one was difficult! It definitely depends on each individual (I too prefer this way)💜 So I might just have to create a separate video showing all the different ways I know how to make one.🤭
