I take a piece of the plastic canvas that's the thing with all the little squares in it and I cut it round to fit and then I stitch it inside and it does work

Hi Wendy ... it would be really helpful to put the number of stitches at the end of each round ... I’ve meticulously counted and round 16 ends with 2 stitches left over = 26 stitches are you able to confirm please?

I made the hat first. It looks big🥴. What’s the measurements of yours please. I’m starting body now and would like to know if I’m going to have to rip it out

This is single crochet not double crochet .

Hi There, thank you for your comment. Just to assure that I have use UK Stitch terminology in my videos and that’s included on the Thumbnail and stated at 26 seconds into the video. Single Crochet is a USA crochet term and the UK Double Crochet stitch is its equivalent. Hope that helps.🙂

Help! :) I am trying to download the pattern but message comes up ---domain is not connected to a website. I wouldn't need the written pattern but somewhere I went wrong around round 13 and I am not sure how many stitches I should have, you don't mention it in the video.

Hi there, the pattern is on my website, www.wendypoole.com and the gnomes are made in the same way, except that one gnome doesn't have the beard shredded and is made in a different colourway. Hope that helps. Wendy
