Hi! English is not my native language but I understood everything! I've never seen anything so simple and clear, this video is just PERFECT for beginners. Thank you so much!
Im really sorry for being a bother but i couldn't really understand the increase part and maybe you could give me the written pattern? Im really sorry if im being hard
Yea I’m also having a hard time with that, like does increase mean to like do a single in the first one, and then afterwards it’s two singles in the same stitch? I’m so confused, I’m new to crocheting!
@@nayaokami2614 heyy increase is when u do 1 sc in first stitch and then in the 2nd stitch do 2sc in the same stitch. and then u keep increasing the no. of sc in between the increases for example in the next row u will do 2 sc individually and then an increases and so on. i hope this was helpful even though I'm not very good at explaining 😅
@@Liana_hynes Omg I think I’m understanding this a bit better now!!!! You’re so awesome, thank you so much!!!! May both sides of your pillow be cool 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾
TIP!: if the white part of ur jellyfish comes out floppy and not round ish like the tutorial, add decreases on the 2nd row of light pink! It'll go like this 1decreases,1 single crochet, ur jellyfish will come out alot more like the one in the tutorial but not completly tho! ;)
I have thiner yarn. How can I crochet the jellyfish bigger with thin yarn? Bigger like your jellyfish? Will it work when I double the pattern/stitches?
Hi just wondering do you know roughly how much yarn is needed like sometimes they have grams and ply written on the package/wool Thanks 😊 I am Australian so am trying to substitute the yarn for an Australian brand 😅
girl thank you so so sooo much for this tutorial it is the easiest one I've found soo easy to follow you explain so clearly it is amazing. i love the way that I don't need to know the abbreviations to understand I made it in one day and I couldn't stop crocheting it was soo fun it brang such a big smile on my face and I showed everyone. Thank you so much this made me feel sooo overjoyed
currently there isn't a tutorial for the blue one, it was actually my first attempt to create this pattern! but if you'd like I could totally make one for the blue one :)
hello! what kind of yarn did you use? because it looks really thick, i love it. is it chenille? the one used for stuffed animals and warm things? or could you give me the link of a similar yarn, so i have a reference when i go to buy? thanks! very nice tutorial
Hii! This is a very good tutorial and a great pattern ❤ but I do have a question. At the start when you do that slip stitch and after that the increases, do you put the first single crochet in the same stitch you did the slip stitch in?
Hi ! I love your crochet tutorials ! I wanted to ask your permission to use your patterns from youtube to sell the finished item on my Etsy shop. I would credit you of course ☆⋆。𖦹°‧★
Hi there, I have a question. So I was wondering if it is okay if I make these jellyfish in other colours using this tutorial? I was thinking of doing one in blue, one in yellow, one in pink, and one in purple. Would that be okay with you? I know this tutorial is for pink specifically so I just want to make sure I’m not crossing any boundaries. I was also thinking of starting a RU-vid channel, and may have these jellyfish in the background of my videos. I would give full credit to you and link your channel in the description, I was wondering if I have permission to do so? I wouldn’t be selling them and I wouldn’t show people how to make them. I would give full credit to you.
of course you can make these in different colors! it would look great. i think she would allow that you have these jellyfishes in the background but if someone ask you for the pattern for them make sure you credit her!
thanks you so much for asking, you really didn't need to!💕 you can make the jellyfish in any color you'd like to ofc aswell as show them in your videos! lmk once you post your first video!! id love to support your channel
i stopped watching the tutorial so i could put the tentacles on and sew the underside so i didnt watch the part where you made what attached it to the ceiling and now my jellyfish keeps falling😢
Hey, I think it’s because the first row is single crochets and the second row is just incs. So when you have 1 between inc, then 2 then 3 then 4 then 5 then 6 that makes 8 rows but the outer row is 6 scs and then an inc
@@beansareamazing maybe, I’ll try again tomorrow because I almost finished this one so I’ll figure out the issues and make another! Thank you for this tutorial though it’s really easy to follow (even if I made mistakes)
This was exactly me, i kinda get it third try by the head of my jellyfish came out smaller but honestly its all about practice, go one by one and youre good
@@beansareamazing oh sorry for the inconvenience!! :( this comment was written on my nerves after one situation,, i wanted to calm down but it only came out worse. i think if i do today i can do it! 🙏

According to google I used 10ply yarn so I think it should work with 5ply yarn! Just keep in mind that the resulting size of the jellyfish will vary. 😊
@@julitoandres2031 im not exactly sure that's how it works 😅 in the graph I checked; it was 5ply, 8ply, then 10ply. so im not sure if 10ply yarn is double the size of 5ply.
Mine started making a triangular dome shape like from the beginning, I think I’m using a slightly thicker wool so that may be why, but I just don’t understand as hers is flat, and later a perfect dome
Hm it could be yarn size, the reason mine turns from flat to dome shaped is because of the single crochets after the increases. It “forces” the stitches upwards since the circle didn’t “expand” (through increasing). I hope this makes sense.. regardless, sometimes retrying helps! Creating this pattern I’ve also had to frog it numerous times💗
@@beansareamazing what kind of yarn are you using? I have acrylic dk but I think for that to work I need a smaller hook to close off the gaps in the rows
hi may i ask? i tried to do the frills thingy of the jellyfish but it looks so bad when i make three half double crochet in one stitch, like it would have BIG holess 😭😭
@@beansareamazing tried it with smaller hook too but the result is just the same.😭 i also tried to make it with just two hdc but the result is just the same except the holes are slightly less noticeable. thank you for replying btw
@@leone_minoof course! honestly, I don't think that the holes are the a big problem. I would just continue and ignore them since the inc. will kinda cover it up, yk?😅 so sorry I don't have a better solution!!😭
