Thank you so much for this! Turned out so cute. I ended up doing embroidery for the eyes because baby the time the video said to add them I couldn't get the backs on. I would recommend putting the eyes in sooner

I’m making this right now but I can’t understand the part on how to make the beak 😩 I’ve tried it about 10 times now but I don’t know where to put the 2nd slip stitch. It all becomes a huge mess after the first slip stitch that joins the 3 chain to 1 chain

one thing I learned when doing the capybara was using a stitch mark in every part I had to do a slip stitch, it helps tracking where you're supposed to put the hook with bigger yarn

maybe think of it as a circle, you slst the first chain of the three you made, then continue into the next one right on the left side and keep going in a circle until you do 9 (it'll end up looking like a snail shell), adding stitch markers might help
