In this video, I am going to show you how to crochet this super easy Crochet Headband / Crochet Earwarmer. Its easy to adjust the size for a small Child , Teenager or Adult and it is a great crochet pattern for Beginners.
This Simple & Easy Crochet Headband can be used in different ways. You can add a crochet flower and use this as a crochet headband with flower or use it as crochet headband with buttons.
You can also convert this into a Crochet X- Twist Headband/ Earwarmer or the knotted headband.

I absolutely adore this headband, it's so versatile. Actually I love all your tutorials, thank you very much. I'm going to try and make this for my baby granddaughter, what would be the measurements please for a 3-6 month old? x

Thank you, Helen. I'm glad you like the tutorials. As for the measurement, the general head circumference for 3 to 6 months is 15 to 17 inches. But make it a little smaller and can compensate for the stretch.

is there any advice on how to increase the headspan/adding more stitches? I measured the circumference before starting the rows but maybe due to the yarn my crochet has seemed to shrunk/gotten smaller and i fear it might not fit by the end.

I know you said what kind of yarn to use, but could you also use a 100 percent cotton yarn for this project?

Yes you can use cotton also, but it will have very less elasticity. So if you are using cotton just adjust the length keeping in mind that it will not stretch as acrylic yarn.
