I love this, and it was so fun to make! But mine turned out waaay smaller.. I have tried twice, with different yarn, but the turban can barely fit my fist.. I don't understand what I do wrong because I follow your instructionts to the point.. Do I need a bigger hook? I use 5mm hook like you.. The first panel is so much shorter even tho I have the right ammount of stitches..
You are a great teacher!!! These are the best and most easy to follow instructions I've ever seen in a video. Thank you for demonstrating and explaining so well and thank you for putting the txt at the top of the video so it's not blocking the work. i like how you have time stamps on your videos. it makes it so much easier to bounce around. The narration is also good. It is nice to be able to crochet along with you and not necessarily need to look up from my work.

This is a fantastic little hat. I didn't realise how quickly it was completed. However I used double knit yarn and it came out perfect!, now I just need to do a boy's beanie. As we don't know the baby's gender yet and it has to quick because they are going to southern Ireland on the 20 of May. I loved it! This is the very first time I actually understand the back stitch!!!! Everyone this is a small hat! I finished it in a few hours and then I realized it was too small for my 8 months old. Live the pattern though!!!

Great tutorial! I tried it everything came out well except for my top portion it’s lop sided 😩. I have trouble with the increase and decrease stitch’. Idk panel I did something wrong.
I really like this pattern I made mine followed your instruction and it turns out good. I wonder if I want to change the size bigger that means I need to change the size of Panel 1. How about panel 2,3? Do I need to add more crochets?
I'm a little bit confused. On panel 2 it looks like more of a triangle with piece you're showing. But the instructions indicate only increase on one side of the fabric. Instead of switching sides each time you increase, you indicate that you are continuously increasing on one side which would make one side straight and the other side angled. I am following along and currently on row 6. If I continue following this I do not believe it will end up looking the way it is supposed to.

i love your patterns, and videos, I got the pattern for a bigger size and looked at the video and i am very satisfied with result, i am not an expert at crochet i just learn by looking., i do it to relax .....that is how easy and explicit this is..... and the between music is so relaxing THUMBS UP :-D....I also did the baby booties and will definitely do more... soon will be hachtagging croby patterns.......

If I wanted to make this for a bigger head should I use a bigger hook? I like to make this for my grand daughter she’s a year old but her head is larger ( bigger than a newborn)

Thank you! 😊 I offer additional sizes in the PDF pattern, but you can always use a larger crochet hook and a bit thicker yarn, play with the gauge and make the whole turban bigger. 😀
