Make a loose slip knot, chain 2
R1 : 12 dc into slip knot. Slip sts
R2 : chain 2, 2 dc into every sts. Slip sts (24 sts)
R3 : ch 2, * 1 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 12x. Slip sts (36 sts)
R4 : ch 2, * 2 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 12x. Slip sts (48 sts)
R5 : ch 2, * 3 dc, 2 dc into next sts*. Repeat * 12x. Slip sts (60 sts)
R6 : chain 2, 60 dc
R7 : chain 2,60 dc
R8 : chain 1, skip 3 sts, 5 dc into next sts, * skip 2 sts, 1 sc next sts, skip 2 sts, 5 dc into next sts*. Repeat till end, slip sts into chain 1. You should have total of 10 shells sts.
R9: (1st shell chain 2, 4dc into same slip sts), 1 sc on shell from previous round), shell sts (into sc sts from previous round Repeat * till end. You should have 10 shells sts. Slip sts into shell from previous round and chain 1.
R10-17 : repeat round 9
R 18 : chain 1, 1 dc into same slip sts, * 4 hdc, 2 dc*. Repeat * until last 4 hdc, 1 dc into last sts. (60 sts)
R 19 : chain 2, 60 dc. Slip sts
R 20 : chain 5, skip 3 sts, * 1dc, chain 2, skip 2*. Repeat *, chain2. Slip sts
R 21: chain 1, 60 hdc (3 hdc into chain 3 space, 1 hdc on dc sts, 2 hdc into chain 2 space)
Round 22 : chain 1, skip 3 sts, shell (3dc, chain 3, slip sts on 3rd dc, 3dc), *skip 2 sts, 1 sc, skip 2 sts, shell*. Repeat * until last shell sts. slip sts into chain 1 from beginning round. Cut yarn and weave in end.
