I've seen several videos explaining this hat pattern. So far, your way of showing and explaining the steps, is the BEST. Thank you for your expertise and patience! Way to go!!!💖👍👏

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a very detailed and comprehensive tutorial, as well as for your patience to explain each step. With your detailed instructions, even a beginner can crochet this wonderful hat.. I made it for two days.

Finally a video worth watching over and over No chatting for forever, camera is perfectly place so we see something. She speaks well, it’s simple, it’s well explained and in the end the video doesn’t last for an hour. I loved it and subscribed to the channel because god knows I watched a lot of crochet tutorials on RU-vid and finally i found what I wanted: something easy to do because it’s well explained. Thanks Claudetta

At what point do you switch from 4 loops on the hook to 3?

Yes exactly, this is where I was getting confused. She did 3 and then she did 4. 🤷🏿‍♀️

THANK YOU!!!!! Thank you so much for going through the puff stitch slowly and telling us how many loops should be on the hook. I watched another tutorial of a puff stitch and I was going to abandon the idea of me doing anything with a puff stitch. I was so confused. Thank you so much! And the colors of this hat blend so beautifully.

I noticed you make a smaller puff stich at row 7... Only 7 loops on hook to pull through... Is that right?

I made 3 of these in 2 days. Absolutely love this pattern. I'm going to make one for everybody for Christmas! LOL I've tried it with softer lighter weight Yarns as well and it is so silky and luxurious. Thank you so much for this video. I did find that for a little smaller head I do six rows and then begin the decrease and it turns out well also.

I just wanted to say thank you for your "How to" videos! They are so easy to follow. I tried knitting/crochetting when I was little but it never caught on (even though my grandmother gave me her amazing tools she no longer used). She passed away over the summer and I've taken back to it now that I'm in my senior year at university - it has been such an amazing stress reliever making gifts for friends and family with your videos. So thank you it means the world

This is such an easy to follow tutorial with clear instructions. I love that you show us where the stitch goes instead of just saying it. I was able to make this and it turned out perfect, even as a beginner. I did only crochet 4 rows of puffs high as I prefer a closer fitting hat, then started decreasing as shown. Thank you for teaching is how to make this adorable hat!

I couldn't get the puffs in the first row on the band to sit straight, so I did two rows of ch1-s around the top and now they sit straight. Can recommend as a solution if anyone else has had this problem. 🍀🍀🍀🍀 Thanks for the lovely video!

This is a great hat and a lovely pattern and explanation. Thanks! The only thing that I noticed is that you started off saying that the puff stitch used consisted of nine loops on your hook finished off by pulling the thread through all nine. Somewhere, I think around the time you start decreasing, I see that you actually do seven loops instead of nine. Would have saved me some yarn 😂. But I actually like the bulkiness of the 9-loop puff stitch better, so it worked out fine. 😊
