How to Crochet Easy Textured Beanie Hat, Crochet Video Tutorial

Today's crochet project is an easy beanie hat. Only basic crochet stitches are used in this pattern: chains, single crochets, half double crochets, and double crochets. You will also need a tapestry needle to make the seam on the hat.
Skill Level: Beginner
Size: Adult, but can be adjusted to any size.
Materials: US hook size K (6.5 mm);
Worsted weight, category 4, 100% acrylic yarn, about 160 yards or 85 grams.
I used half a skein of Big Twist Soft, color Blush

I really enjoy your videos. You are very clear with your instructions. I liked watching the way you hook at the back of the stitch and the way you stitched up the seam. I like how your voice sounds soft-spoken and matter of fact. You're easy to listen to.

@Olga Poltava • Olga: One of the things that makes your videos so exceptional is that you show us each step in detail. I really appreciate that you took the time to show us how to stitch the side seam for a smooth finish. Showing the stitches you used to sew the top together is especially helpful because when we're dealing with a new stitch, it's not always easy to figure out where to make the join.
