I have to say thank you for this tutorial. I'm crocheting moss stitch in the round for sleeves with color changes in every row. The other ways I saw for doing it looked very visible and the seam traveled which looked very odd. This seam travels backwards instead of forwards (also weird) but the first stitch actually blends wonderfully so it is almost invisible. Thank you for this!

Beautiful ❤️ I was all excited to see this stitch being done, but... I am trying to find a tutorial for this stitch to make a hat from the top down.

How do you join the hat together on top?

If working bottom up, for most basic hat, run a tapestry needle and your yarn through all the stitches and make a drawstring closure. Tighten, run needle through those stitches again from inside, make a knit, weave in tail and trim. You can also decrease as you get near the end to make it a less bulky top. Next week I’ll teach how to start at the top and make it various sizes of hats with a nice fit shaped top/crown.
