Thank you for this! I can't wait to make one for my grandmother❤️ She's the one who taught me how to crochet, but now she doesn't really want to crochet anymore because of her eyesight. She's been asking me for a shawl/wrap wahaha, so this is perfect!
Hi Jennifer! Another beautiful shawl stitch. Working this shawl with you and I'm using a lovley Light Jasmine color by Red Heart. This pattern makes for a wonerful Prayer Shawl. 💜💜
Jennifer that is a beautiful shawl ❤❤❤I think I’m going to make a washcloth first then a scarf 🧣 i like to start small and work my way up thanks for sharing you have a very calm voice and tutorial is very easy to follow 😊😊😊
Thank you for this tutorial. You make it very easy to follow along with you can you give clear instructions so it's easy to understand what you are saying.
New Subscriber!! And I am excited about it! I just found your channel yesterday and have binge watched some of your videos. You create the best tutorials. I get so frustrated with other creators because there is always one or more details left out. But your videos do not leave me with any questions. I watch them and think, 'yes, I can grab some yarn and a crochet hook and make this now.' You are an amazing teacher! Thank you so much for these tutorials.
You are awsome in explaining how to make crochet with this shawl love watching your videos may we ask what make is your crochet hook love too buy them make for charity for premier babies for a very long time hope to see more videos
I love the pattern and directions. It would be more helpful for me. If you could do a few more rows where you copy the pattern. I finding myself getting stuck because I don’t know if I’m redoing the rose correctly and then I have to restart the video.
On your video you say chain 62, but on the written pattern it says chain 68, I followed the written pattern and the on my second shawl the video, it was not as wide and the first one - it is a nice looking shawl but not long enough for my taste so I’m using 5 balls of yarn.
I am so sorry I’m a little bit confused. If you say you do multiples of three then add two let’s just say that is five but when you start you start with 62? What am I missing? Please advise, I would be very appreciative, thank you so much!
You make the scarf or shawl as wide as you like in multiples of three stitches, so 3+3+3+3 and so on. So you will crochet 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, etc. Once you get it to the width you want, you add an additional 2 chains. I am making a scarf and the width I liked was 30 chains (3 chains, 10 times) and then I added 2 additional chains for a total of 32 chains to start. I hope this helps you. Good luck with your project.
Ummmm this is the EXACT same pattern as your "high tide shawl" just a different color 🤷♀️🤦♀️ it would be nice if you mentioned that at the beginning so people like me don't watch it waiting for something different. Just saying 👍 its beautiful nonetheless 😉
