Hi Julia Could you please make a tutorial for a rectangular base bag or oval base bag? I have seen your ‘how to make a perfect rectangle/oval’ tutorial using tshirt yarn but don’t know how to proceed to make a bag. Please help Thanks Christina
Just made this bag thanks to the very easy to follow instructions! Thank you so much! If I were to do a normal circle at the bottom, would it still work? (if I would join the rows instead of continuing)

Hi 👋 Welcome to the crochet world 😊 T-shirt yarn can have different width. The one I use in this video has 7-9 mm width. You can use any T-shirt yarn for this bag. But it will affect the size of the finished bag. For example I crocheted 10 rows in my circle bottom with my 7-9 mm T-shirt yarn and its diameter came out 25 cm. If you use smaller width of T-shirt yarn and crochet 10 rows the same way as me, then the diameter of such a circle will be less than 25 cm and if you want to get 25 cm in diameter with smaller yarn then you will need to crochet more than 10 rows in it. So whatever yarn you use, you just adjust the size of the bag by the number of rows that you crochet in the circle bottom of the bag and in its walls.
