randomly decided i wanted to become a crochet master at 11 pm, don't even have yarn or needles yet lol, and this video is perfect! You explain everything so clearly that i just can't wait to go pick up all the materials and get started!!
Haha!!!! I gave up lol. halfway through the process I had to pack my room up so I could move to my new apartment so I’m unraveling it and will be starting again once the move is done
Omg yayy!!! I would think they are just a little more scrunchy with the more length! Which sounds very cute 😍 thank you so much!! Good luck finishing the other one!! 💖
I accidentally made it too short 😭 I did 35 chains- but its fine I guess since I've only made one. I would probably make the other pair longer and for the short one, I think im gonna make another one (maybe around 20 chains) and try to connect them together!
I am a beginner crocheter and I literally just started crocheting yesterday and Ive completely underestimated how time consuming this is 😭 i wont give up tho. your tutorial is so helpful as well tysmm ❤❤❤
I am IN LOVE with this pattern, I can't wait to make my own! It will be my first time attempting something this big! (I've only ever crocheted a bookmark before lmao)
AWWWW, thank you so so much!! I am soo excited for you!! 💖💖 I feel like this is a really good project for your first big one! It's super repetitive so you can work on the basics! Btw, crochet bookmarks are soo cute, I need to make more sometime 😍 let me know if you run into any trouble though, I can try to answer any questions you have while crocheting these!! :)
@@savannahfletcher OK so, I finished the first leg warmer! I had to redo it a few times because I kept missing the stitch on the end of each row (I didn't heed your warning, oops!) But once I figured that out, everything went super smoothly! Starting on the next one now :)
@@antix527 that is amazinggg!!! Congrats!! 👏 it's totally okay, even with warning, it's suuper easy to accidentally drop a stitch each round and not realize it for 10 rounds LOL 😳 definitely annoying but at least you've got it down now! I hope the second one is super easy for you now!!! 😁💖
I did it!!!!)))) My legs get very cold, because I'm sitting for studying, so I picked warm semi-wool yarn. My first clothing project and they turned out very cute) Your tutorial was amazing, so simple to follow even for beginner like me)
Yayyy, I am so so proud of you bestiee :)))) i'm so happy they turned out cute too, i feel like my first clothing project was definitely a flop hahaha! Thank you so much for following along, you are so kind!! 🥰💖
I can't believe it was this easy 😭 !! I thought I have to be a professional and study in a crocheting college or idk what it is to do these !! I swear I'm so thankful to u !
Ahahahahaha, i would honestly go to crochet college if that was a thing 😂 i'm so happy you found the tutorial easy though 😭 thank you for following along!! 💖💖
I'm so glad you made this, its very much beginner friendly and it taught me a lot of new things! it also helped me try new crocheting items due to me just making a lot and i mean A LOT of scrunchies, so thankyou again!
Awww, thank you so much!! You are very welcome 🥰 hey, you can never have too many scrunchies ahahahaha 😂 I really wanted this tutorial to be beginner friendly, so im very happy to hear it was for you!! 💖
A family friend of mine is actually giving me her crochet hook because ive been actually wanting to crochet i didn't receive it yet but im excited ive been wanting to do leg warmers and i found a tutorial which was yours!
Ahhh yayyy!!! You totally should! This is honestly such a great first project for beginners. Very beginner-friendly! The yarn is of the brand Yarn Bee, and I got it from Hobby Lobby (a US store). I'm sure you could find something very similar if you don't have one near you. Look for a size/bulk 4 yarn! :) Best of luck!! 💟💌
I'm crocheting fingerless gloves, and found your video. I NEED TO CROCHET THIS LEG WARMERS. I think they will be good with maxi skirt :) tysm for the tutorial!!
OMG YOU ARE SO RIGHT! I loveee the idea of wearing them with a maxi skirt!! That's so cute, i'm so happy you are going to make them too! 🥰 you are so welcome! plus, i'm sure they would look soo cute with your fingerless glovess!
Omg I know exactly what u mean, im honored that my vids are inspiring you hehe 🥰 I go from not crocheting for a hot minute and then starting 5 projects all at once 💀
i've saved this in my "watch later" for WAY too long... time to actually do this, especially since it's getting chilly out! (i'm supposed to be doing work rn, but it can wait till 11:59pm hehe)
Please try the Crochet book from Klutz! You won't need the whole kit since it's overpriced to buy the kit since Klutz was bought out by Scholastic & the kits/books don't get published anymore. But the kit does have a 4.0mm crochet hook if you do buy it. I bought the kit back when Klutz was still in business so it was only $19.99 at Barns & Nobles back in the day. It's very beginner-friendly and only has one page that has the annoying abbreviations that most patterns would use, just to help explain them for when you do decide to try patterns that aren't in the book.
omg! i actually have a lot of yarn left when i got into crochet when i was 13 but stopped and i always wanted to make it into something so it wouldnt be a waste. and i always wwanted to buy some leg warmers and never got the chance to. Ill try it when i have the time ty for the tutorial 💛💛💛💛
Im totally a beginner and i started learning know even though its not even delivered yet i ordered it because i wanna be a pro crochet and no spend you can just make your favorite items but sometimes you just get tired my hobby is crochet and im excited thank for the tutorial❤❤
@Chihiro just buy 2 of the white/cream/other cute color yarn bundles that you see in the beginning of the video just to be safe. Then you can use any leftovers for making something smaller like a flower or something. Also get your hands on the Crochet book from Klutz if you can. It's not being public anymore but I highly recommend it. Just the book since people will overcharge for the kits due to Scholastic not publishing the Klutz books & kits anymore.
Thank you!! 💞 You definitely should! I tried to make the tutorial as beginner-friendly as possible, but let me know if you have any questions! I'm happy to help 🥰💖
thankyou so much for this❤ i like to crochet on the bus to school and my sisters always wanted leg warmers so I think this would be a pretty cool gift :D
Omg emagine this in thicker yarn would be so cute for the winter! Im defo gonna make it when i get yarn! And today is the next day and I'm starting now ;)
Omg im so happy to hear that!!! 🥰 I hope it's going well for you! It can be a little bit tricky to learn the basics but once you get the hang of it, you will be ready to tackle all kinds of crochet projects 😍 good luck bestie!! 💖
I highly recommend the Crochet book from Klutz, but you will only be able to get it second-hand because they were bought out by Scholastic and they stopped publishing all the old Klutz books/kits. You don't need the full kit because it's extremely overpriced compared to back when you could by the kits new in-store for only $19.99 from Barns & Nobles back in the day. But the kit does have all the supplies including the 4.0mm crochet hook these legwarmers need. I also recommend the Knitting book from Klutz, normal one not the Spool Knitting one because I haven't tried it yet.
Thank you!! 💞 I believe in you! Maybe try looking up a video on how to chain or how to do single crochet, to help you get started! Then come back to do this as your first project!
@@savannahfletcher Thanks! I have learned how to do a single and now I can do this! Plus, I'm almost finished on the first leg warmer but my mom is helping me to do it.
Awwww, thank you!!! 💖 That is so sweet! 😭 I'm so happy you are inspired 🥺 and definitely! The measurements are more important than the actual number of chains/rows, so I would just go by how tall you want it, the circumference of your leg, etc! So in this case, the hook size isn't too important 😊
If you can't yan it grab a fluffy white or black just like a the full color or however color you want It has to be a fluffy sweater and cut the sleeves and see if they fit your legs and then boom easy leg warmer
Thank youuuuuu!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 I would love to do that in the future! I'm trying to figure out a good pattern for a sweater vest myself!! It's a little difficult to figure out but I am working on it, I promise hahaha 😁☺️
Awww thank you!!! I'm sure yours will turn out so pretty!! 💖💖 The key is your choice of colors, in my opinion! Makes a huge difference to have just the right colors 😊😁
I’m going back to school soon and it gets really cold in my school in the winter so I’m planning on making black leg warmers, fingerless gloves and a head band and scarf so this will help alot
Awww, thank you so much!!! Ahahahahaha, yayyyy I'm so glad you're making these too 🥲💖 I can't wait to make more projects like this one for you guys :)))
Ok so i am a beginner, i've always liked crocheting since i was 7, i turned 12 last month and i am very exitedd 🤍 I'll try it and tell you how it looks💗 btw, love your tutoriallsss🫀
Happy late birthday!!! 🎂🎉 I'm so happy that you're going to make a pair of the leg warmers too! Definitely let me know how it goes 😍 you are so sweet, thank you!! 💖💖
Mine looks nothing like this but it’s my first project and I finally happy I was able to pull through and make at least one thing with. I’m thinking maybe the type of yarn I used played a part also?
Yayyyy!!! I'm so proud of you bestie 😭 i hoped these leg warmers could be someone's first project! Hmm, definitely could have been! Was it a really thick yarn or a funky texture kind?
