Hey guys, you’re very welcome! This was actually a lot of hands for us, we normally only do 2 or 3 in 30 minutes 😂 Honestly we just love going as deep into the strategy of each decision point as we possibly can

I don't think i could fold the K high flush there. Maybe that's why I'm terrible

21:15 Is it really that loose of an open? I thought K10o is a 50/50 hand from what is essentially the LJ. Plus with 5 players it seems like you should open wider. I could absolutely be wrong here, I just want some insight

It’s only a pip off using preflop Bootcamp ranges… IMO it would probably become a pure open with the whale in the SB (good to play more pots vs whales)

In the first hand, why do we have an overbet sizing on a flop where villain has the nut advantage?
@fredrikadolfsson1478
@fredrikadolfsson1478 9 месяцев назад
The villian doesnt have a nut advantage, we do. He doesnt have AA, KK, QQ etc, and same amounts of 77, 66, 22
@synchronium24
@synchronium24 9 месяцев назад
@@fredrikadolfsson1478 Overpairs give us range advantage, but they would not be considered nut hands. You're right about 77, 66, 22 (and 76s) though. I guess I was thinking more of an UTG versus big blind scenario where only BB should have some of those hands. EDIT: I checked this spot in GTO Wizard. Our specific combo does do some overbetting on this board, but only 0.7% of our range. So I would rather just use smaller sizings since I won't be able to balance such a narrow range.
@connorcrump3825
@connorcrump3825 5 месяцев назад
@@synchronium24Overpairs do fall into the nut category often in these scenarios as they are hands that are almost always good and the other "nut" hands are just so few that overpairs are the majority of the top end of the equity. But I agree that in this spot I would most likely not use an overbet size.

can someone explain what a tree bet is?
@grandmasterkevv
@grandmasterkevv 2 месяца назад
A 3-bet is the 3rd bet of a round. So it goes bet, raise, 3-bet(re-reraise), and 4-bet would be a raise to the re-reraise(3-bet). So on and so forth
@TodaysThemeIs

tree bet, not "three bet" mr grandmaster sir
