this is how you blow up your channel Jonathan. Keep adding free value and people will flock your way. I'm sure all of us myself included sincerely appreciate your content. Keep at it man.
Good job Jonathan. Very clear and complete explanation of all material you covered. Sorry to say, it’s also good that you didn’t answer “stupid” questions..
You are my absolute hero Jonathan Little. I love the way you deal with every nonsense question and help every player no matter where they are at. I have a premium subscription, but to be honest I easily could have reached the same level I am at now with the amount of free content you offer. I don't plan to be the best player in the world, I just want to get good enough to consistently make $50 USD per hour online... your training has already got me halfway there. Thank you so so much, you are so generous with your strategy, I seriously think that if anyone tuned in to your content they could at least get to $20 USD per hour without even paying for a full subscription. peace and love from Australia
I tried this immediately right after I watched your video. I went from 50BB to 100BB in just a span of about 2 hours. However, I lost on an all-in when I called with my top pair when I kind of knew that my opponent had a likely higher over-pair range. You were right with the "Don't pay off opponents when you know you're beat" lol. But, I bought-in another 50BB and got my 50BB back. From here on out, I'm optimistic that consistency would pay-off.
Fantastic content. I like your no nonsense approach to some questions and life in general. You are a very generous person and deserve all the good you get. Keep it up.
Google. You can Google almost anything. These are just the positions of the table. I assume you already know the small blind and big blind. If the dealer chip is in front of you, that is the button. Going right after the button is cut off, high jack and low jack. If the able is bigger than 6, start after the Small blind and go left which gives you Under the Gun, then UTG+1, UTG +2 or sometimes Middle position MP, which should connect you back to Low Jack LJ, HJ, CO and Button.
I wish there was a love it button on youtube - very kind of you Jonathan, you put out the best content by far for the poker community and you seem to genuinely care about your subscribers. Just wanted to let you know it is appreciated.
Have to disagree with ya on the Ace Jack off suit being a fold! Now, I'm not saying I haven't folded it numerous times, the stakes and site I play on...Ace Jack off is a winner most of the time! Clowns I play with will bet the farm on any ace
Ballsy move.. i just pay for this:))) U took care for ur fans that are kinda in house arrest. I always enjoy this philosophy. Giving value. Promote the game.
Can someone tell me what the other percentage is at the bottom? for example "%7.2 96/188 %51.1" ? I understand the %7.2 96/188 but what does the %51.1 represent?
I just found your channel and I’m just learning to play poker better I just play for play money don’t have the skills for real cash. My strategy was always call every hand and hope for the best 😆 I may not understand everything you say but your tips have definitely helped me over the past few days. Hope to play for real cash online one day if it’s not considered illegal in Australia also hello to the little one at 0:06
It is so frustrating when you're trying to explain a general concept that works in most situations, and everyone wants to waste time going over every specific scenario that works differently, just so they can sound smart.
Signed up immediately! Thanks you! You mentioned going back and watching hands from the days online sessions. Is there software that you use to save hand histories?
Can someone explain why online cash games are generally tougher than live cash games? I would really appreciate a detailed response instead of just saying “more hands per hour equals more experience faster “. There has to be more to it than that.
The reason above is a large reason. People who are bad lose their money much faster. When they lose their money faster, they stop playing/move down faster making the games tougher. Another reason is that it takes effort to make an online account and deposit money, but it's quite easy to go sit at a live casino poker game if you're staying at the hotel or driving by the card room on the way home. There are more driving forces for people to play live such as free drinks, social interaction, sports on, etc. All of these things are removed in the online games, so it is less friendly to very recreational players and not as fun for them. Also, the good players can play lower stakes online than live. No strong pro will play live $1/$2 no-limit. The win-rates and money just aren't enough when you can only play 30-35 hands an hour. 200nl online though, a strong player can play 10+ tables and 1000 hands an hour or more. This leads to a way higher hourly rate for the pro. So overall, the strong players in the game at similar stakes are much better and there are less recreational players.
How realistic would it be for smart, dedicated, skilled gamers and puzzle/chess masters who already know how to play fairly well..to play poker on a level that makes decent money? Say around $500 or more a month.
@@PokerCoaching Appreciate the reply..just never really wanted to turn gaming or chess into a part-time or full-time living. But poker has always been an interesting alternative sport. Been starting out in small stakes but definitely need to study a bit more..play safe games, and find out which stakes are best for me. So far I've noticed I clean up and am more aggressive in the first 30 mins then jumping to another table works well but I'd be very interested in taking a course from a pro who can teach me to be a machine lol if only I could make a living in speedcubing tho
Sorry Jon, but i hope this vid gets very little views. This is bad for my EV 🙉. Either way thanks for the content and congrats with award👍🏽✌🏾(i voted for you).
Are there any times when 3-betting or even flatting with a hand like JTs in the cuttoff makes sense? I'm finding it hard to wrap my head around the idea that hands such as these, that play well post flop in position, should be eliminated from our range entirely unless we're on the button. Certainly these players are opening wide enough for us have enough equity to profitably flat call in certain instances?
@@highselfluke He didn’t specifically say in this video but usually he says it’s assuming that the opponent is playing perfect poker. I assume he compared the recommended range from the LJ to JTs and it turns out to be unprofitable. Since no one plays perfect, some less perfect than others, I also assume JTs can be played profitably in most games.
what about weaker opponents online? i’m folding 89ss in pos to their raise? also HU are you preferring a smaller c bet 1/3 on value hands and bluffs? seems to be the norm now
Just a shot in the dark but Ill ask anyways .In the board around the 24 minute mark. The pocket pair of Jacks is considered a marginal made hand and is played as such.Is an Ace Ten considered a marginal made hand or a draw?It seems to be considered both. How do you recommend playing.A check or bet on the flop?
Jonathan Little - Poker Coaching Okay good to know.Im guessing thats mostly due to the range advantage.Appreciate you taking the time.Good luck in your tournaments tomorrow.

@@PokerCoaching The video explanation is very helpful just not to me i live in the Caribbean and i don't have access to things mentioned in the video like for example a bitcoin wallet isn't available to every Caribbean island especially not mine is their any other way becauce signing up for anything over is near to impossible i mean i just recently paid a guy from Algeria $100 just to sign up for a skrill account using his info just so i can have access to skrill as a means to cash out but right now the only method i can think of is sending money to someone that already knows the run aroung and then they probably send it to my skrill account or something
@@mr.tbagsxm4523 Bitcoin itself. It is accepted by all major poker sites. Just get on what site you want to play and see what type they accept. As a matter of fact if you DM me and send money I'll set up a site for you.
no, just raise as a bluff alllll the time until they start to notice and call you down lighter. Or they never notice, and you just print infinite money by bluffing any two cards lol
