Thanks for this, been waiting for a deep dive from you Jordan. So yeah, i´ve had only succsess running this detachement so far, playing against ppl from my club. It has some pretty nasty Stratagems, my favorite one is i think Corrosive Voscera. I love sending a big distraction Carnifex through a wall, like a Norn, a Heirodule or Acidfex. But even just a D3 explosion is absolutely devastating sometimes. If something becomes very hurt, you just keep it in your backpocket, like a granade. In my last game vs Drukari, i managed to blow up right in the middle of his side, with a Maleceptor, dealing 16MW. It´s either sometinhg your opponent keeps forgetting, or he has to make a tough choice of ignoring your Monsters for a turn before he hurts himself.

You said the swarmlord grants a aura of cp costing 1 more when within 12 inches of him at 27:00. Unless there is a update I'm unaware of or have read my rules wrong he can only pick one stratagem to increase by 1 for the rest of the game. I love my tyranids and to see this video made me happy. I got 13k points and rising.

Crusher stamped was so bad in 9th Ed I'm terrified to try it in 10th ed

Played 3 tanks with a bunch of sword brethren. He just attacked one monster at a time. Never got to use +1 or wound. I don't have any maleceptors though.

Only found this channel recently - really enjoying it! ^^ do you have a video about how to play nids vs certain types of armies? I tried to take a tervigon and 40 gants + 10 gaunts against ultramarines and it just felt bad haha. I'm guessing i want to try vanguard for a more melee focused build against those? lots of marines etc.
