Thank u, I did the exact same thing at the salon I worked at. There's a 20 year old co-worker who look down on me as less than like im dumb and always telling me what to do. She interupted and said here let me show u a better way. She curled by sliding downward while wrapping the hair and the curls would come out half crooked. She used the same method of how to curl with a flat iron but we're using a curling iron and no need to do that. And then she added a comment about no need to pin it to waste time.
