Hey Glamfam! I truly hope this tutorial was helpful and showed you exactly how to curl hair with a flat iron detailed enough for you to make sure that you have it down packed! I personally love curling with a flat iron. A flat iron is a very multipurpose tool, and in the salon it was often the only thing I needed to pick up! In the future Ill be showing you some other curling techniques with a flat iron, and I'll even show you how to deep wave with a flat iron!

Definitely appreciate this video because I was making the mistake of using TOO BIG OF AREAS SO I WASNT GETTING THE TIGHT , FULL AFFECT AND once I saw video where u showed the left side of head with bigger area I knew that was what I was doing wrong plus now I know how to hold it depending on what kind of curl. Thanks a bunch I was seeking a video that would teach me what I was doing wrong.

I'm actually a trained hairdresser (I'm embarrassed about admitting what I'm about to admit!!😳) I can perfectly curl everyone elses hair, different types of curls, GHD curls, wand curls, curly blows, the lot!! But my curls NEVER stay! It's so annoying, I've tried EVERYTHING!!

Hi Linwood, love your videos they are so educational. I have a question for ya. What temperature do you recommend for relaxed and color treated hair when using a ceramic and titanium irons? I'm currently using 280 or 290 with my ceramic irons.

That temperature range should be just fine. I always tell my clients to curl at the lowest temperature that their hair will curl at. That way I don’t have to worry about them burning their hair off. 😊👍🏽

I definitely prefer curling with a 1 inch or less in terms of iron size. I LOVE my half inch iron, it’s my favorite tool.

Slight changes in iron directions can make a world of difference, I do at least 3 other curling techniques depending on the look I’m going for. 😊👍🏽

I wanna go to hair school so bad. I love hair so much. All I wanna do is learn about hair, but I work in property management. I already have my brokers license but everybody keeps telling me to get my license to work for homeowner associations, then go to hair school, but I badly wanna jump the gun and enroll in hair school. You're a great teacher but I think I'm just not meant to get this lol. I've watched a lot of videos trying to figure this out and yours was the easiest to follow with the clearest instructions but I just am hopeless lol. The hair is crimping but not curling. I know I'm doing something really, really wrong but I don't know what :( Regardless, thank you so much for sharing your time and talent and I am sure you helped a bunch of people!
