THANK YOU SO MUCH for the tutorial. I watched a few before it, no help. OMG, I had the hardest time figuring it out and was thinking that something is wrong with my iron - no matter what I did, the hair came out straight! Well no more. Here are the steps: 1. Clamp the hair lightly, then twirl the hair all the way around in the direction you want. 2. THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP!!! DON"T MISS THIS!!! Now, turn your curling iron TWICE (not once) downward, making the hair strand facing you, like a dog's tongue. 3.Pull down, towards the hair strand, all the way down. 4.If you want tighter curls, you can go, stop, and go, stop while going down (pulling your iron through).

After watching countless videos and buying 3 high end flat irons. And the buying the beach waver I finally figured out how to curl my hair with any flat iron by watching your video. It is the only video out of at least the 50 I have watched that explained it so well with the turn of the wrist with having the end come thru the bottom. Thank You. I'm so jealous of girls like u. I'm a grown woman(33 yrs old😧) & I have NEVER been able to fix my own hair. I feel kind of silly having to be taught via RU-vid video tutorials, made by young girls : ) My teenage yrs were during the middle 90's & we didn't have tutorials explaining how to do make-up & such, like all you kids today. I think I may have been able to do more had that been the case. Anyway, I wanted to say thanks! For hair to be considered "short" it must be above the shoulder. I have short hair. The hair stylist told me. Medium length hair is around the shoulder or longer. She is correct about her hair.

Hi Rosa, thanks so much! I've heard great things about the Remington flat iron that is less than $20- I'm sure you can find it on Amazon or at Walmart/Target, or a drugstore near you. I've also had a lot of friends recommend the HSI flat iron that's around $40. I hope that helps 😊
