How To Curl Your Hair With One Hand

I've been looking for a way to fix my hair since my injury ten years ago I haven't felt pretty at all and it has been bad for my mental health and self esteem to the point I'm embarrassed of myself which makes me not want to leave my house or go do much of anything bc I felt worthless . Like my 🧬 fe wasove in many ways after fighting to be capable of so many different things tolivedailylive . Tired of these negative thoughts it's making someone I'm not . Thanks now I can put forth effort on the way I look so I feel better about myself again .I stopped wearing makeup to bc I still felt ugly with my crazy hair it embarrassed me to put it on and still look ugly bc of my hair being ugly still . I appreciate you sharing your story to help others like me .🌿🍀🍀🌺🌹🌹💕👊🏼💓💓🏆👋👋👋👋🌸🌺🌺🌹🌹I learned how to walk again feed myself cook do laundry but couldn't curl my hair . After two strokes and ,3different brain surgeries lost my left arm and leg for 3years but got my leg back thank God for that . Curling my hair doesn't seem bigin comparison but it felt like as painful to my self esteem as those things to me .thanks again for the help and kindness you gave me .

Thank you for the tips. I'm sorry that this happen to you. I had a stroke at 19 from an accident causing a bleed in the brain im now 35. I had full left side paralysis. I have a little mobility on my left side. Spacity is starting to build in my left hand. Daily tasks can sometimes be hard. God bless you. Stay safe and strong. Take care. I’ve been wanting a beach waver so bad but knew I most likely wouldn’t be able to do it and make it actually look good..I have hope that I can get beautiful curls because of you! Great job! Maybe you could curl it with your one hand with the [rubber] bands while it is damp and sleep on it overnight? My hair won't stay like that but I might try the curling iron... But I have to get another one. Kudos to you for helping others with something that is important to those of us with straight hair. ❤❤❤

I slso had a stroke.i lost my left side. Being left side dominant. Ugh i have short hair this is soo much harder than long hair. Id be happy id putbin a pony snd call it a day.

hey girl! I also had a stroke at very young age (4). It effected my left hand much like your hand. Although I have mastered a lot of things including being a mom and a trainer at my job, curling my own hair is not one of them! Kudos to you! Thanks for the tips! I am going to try it tonight!

Saw this and almost started to cry I had 7 strokes in my 20’s 37 now and hair is not something I’ve mastered one sided.
