People have been very interested in this new hoverbike - the Tiny Dancer due to its high level of maneuverability. It has a fair degree of being fine-tuneable to personal needs but some people expressed concern at the way it descends above average when not pushing in any directions.
This video goes through a few solutions and there are probably others.
Opening - 0:00
Recap of what this hoverbike can do - 0:10
Base model descends above average in neutral - 0:25
Dragon part on the railing - 0:35
Placing something between the fans - 1:41
Stake nudging a gap between fans - 2:39
Terrain spacing (simplest most subtle solution) - 3:45
IDEA CREDITS:
- osh-kosh-ganache (creator) for the idea of adding a dragon part as weight on the railing.
- Ultrababouin for the idea of placing something between fans.
- Though I thought of terrain spacing myself, I learned the technique from a previous osh-kosh-ganache post.

I've thought of another option and the idea came to me from the "building error" from my original video: Move the front fan a little forward attaching to the steering stick. This is another way to create space between the fans. This option will improve it in water. Do it too much though and you pretty much have a normal rail hoverbike.

It is "Tiny Dancer", from the Elton John song. Much love!

Oops, I'll fix what I can of that, I was going from memory.

By the way I persevered with the terrain spacing and it WORKS! You just have to keep playing "lucky dip" for a bigger gap. I just made one that only descends 1m per 6~ seconds. Then I made another which ASCENDS 1m per 11 seconds.

@KingX that is awesome! Very close to perfect horizontal auto-pilot. I prefer my dragon scale underneath the rail because the extra 3 zonaite cost is worth it to me to stop worrying about it despawning, but using terrain spacing to keep it minimal is very smart! I have been experimenting ways to land the vehicle, which is still a bit wonky for my taste. One option is holding diagonal downward right before hitting the ground, which turns the vehicle like a cartwheel but lands right-side-up. Another option is to quickly let go and re-grab the steering stick, which can sometimes give a perfect landing.

I don't mind the dragon part solution, it's easy to set for virtually level flight but the simpler it is the more mainstream it can be so it's best I can provide that option for viewers.

2 fan fliers are good, but it doesn't really seem to meet my needs.

I don't use most of what I show though in many cases that's just due to the lack of favourite slots. The descent situation isn't the main issue as this video shows that can be rectified various ways. I'm not even too concerned about bad water game as a good pilot won't be falling in water much (some players prefer a swim option though). Landing is what's letting this otherwise-excellent aircraft down though any horizonal rail solution is too wide for some. Yes there are ways a good pilot can FORCE this to land better but it should be more elementary than this to draw more players. Still I understand that was a sacrifice which provides outstanding turning and stick resist so it's down to the viewer to evaluate whether that's acceptable enough to them. In theory you should be able to move the steering stick further forward to help somewhat with said problems at the sacrifice of some turning. That's the thing with this hoverbike, it's fine-tuneable.

@@KingX I've made some minor changes to it, but it doesn't really make a difference. It's a useful flier, but it just doesn't work for me. I l've heavily experimented with 2 fan fliers, but it's usually somewhat better when the fan's aren't connected to each other, and are somewhat separate. The other flier I have is like that, and have recently noticed that it has straight, and level flight. And I don't honestly really land these things. I get close to the ground, and jump off. A small chunk of what I work with can't really descend that well. All fliers still have limitations in some form, or another.
