I HAD to try this with a frictionless cart because I am not a fan of sand. You make such versatile and easy designs that had me hauling ass in the grass valley between Satori Mountain and uhh “ BOTW Horse Statue memory” but yoooo became a mad lad and just got *so naughty* and replaced the fan with a flame emitter (idfk let me cook them horses) and It had me just gigglin and smiling while playing this game like a bozo!! Gives me good vibes like some of your old laser designs and pretty much all things you create. and omfg I’ve never had a better time with a frictionless cart especially. Keep it up professor!! Perhaps I’ll venture into the desert… ughhhh
Shrine candles work as well. They're a TINY bit slower than a torch and slightly faster than wood with there being a marginal difference between all 3. Use a shrine candle if you want style I guess. Sinakawak is the best shrine to get it at.
You have to start a new game IF you've completed either of the mentioned quests. I'm on 1.1.1 so you can just do what I did, it's MUCH easier than on later versions. You may need to look up the glitch terms (with your version number) for guides on those.
Just like an Infinity Wing from Eventide Island, an Infinity Balloon exists! Balloons suck for the same reason wings suck: they disappear. But there is a difference; wings last a paltry 75 seconds or 1 minute and 15 seconds before disappearing, and balloons last 2 minutes before despawning, which is an eternity compared to 75 seconds on a zonai wing.
I am so happy infinite balloon was found. I wish better zonai devices would be quest or chest rewards...Fire energy is amzing in totk and we can finally put it to use.
1 balloon is enough with a flame emitter (to sustain a normal wing). The power is a bit overkill though, it doesn't like to descend and turning it off makes the wing vulnerable unlike with these natural flame options. You could always just use an infinity wing but I'm trying to find a solution to this for normal wings.
No I just jumped between saves and did the "fuse entangle/inviszuggle/recall lock" trick again. Amass as many as you like! It's unnecessary to do that multiple times though (on old versions anyway) because once you have one you can just duplicate it.
You'd want to refer to Weirdos Next Door for options on new versions. These tricks exist but are more complicated. Worst case, as you never finish the quests you should be able to get Izra again and grab another balloon that way but it's definitely possible because that creator is on the latest patch and uses 2 infinite balloons. All I know is recall-locking was used.
I spent a good evening on it. You can expect to take multiple attempts with both getting the raft and getting the balloon but the good news is it only has to be done ONCE as you can fuse/unfuse/re-fuse, plus make back-up copies to keep at your house or something.
@@KingX yeah, I was wondering about that.. There are a lot of steps to this, I guess if you do something wrong you don't have to start over from the beginning.. I watched osh-kosh-ganache's tutorial.. Lots of steps.. Crazy how people figure this stuff out.
That uses "Load (game)" so it should be fine, I mean you can send the MASTER SWORD to a different save with that! Just use the way I showed if you have timing issues with the button presses for the way you mentioned. (I might go test this for sure though.)
It should work. U-blocks were used for imprisoning Ganondorf before they were patched. I've still not heard whether the patch affects these capstans as well but I would certainly be able to use them in 1.1.1.
No it's needed for some complex big wheel cars. If you need an example I've got one here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hFk-iDPqO10.html I'd previously tried it without gravity pressing and the result was lacking.
So it seems the secret is to stay far enough away that the Lynel can't destroy the Zonai parts with any of their attacks, and is forced to just use the bow?
@KingX I did it!! I lost quite a lot of health as my design is a work in progress, but my tank defeated a Lynel thanks to your guidance. I also found as long as I kept moving in the vehicle the Lynel didn't roar.
Fun fact: You don't need to make a whole square like this, you can just stick 2 capstans together and get the same result as the Lynel isn't going to move once it starts roaring anyway. If you don't have capstans you could try chests. (It may or may not work on the latest version of the game.)
Have you tried this in the colosseum?? I would think it is going to be hard to get all the things you need down there and to use it after every reset. Maybe it doesn't work at all anymore.
I have a rail version showing the coliseum from months ago and that worked fine. I'm positive this would as well - on my version (1.1.1) anyway. I don't think it'll work on the latest patch but have yet to confirm.
Very nice design! The nudged fan is interesting, although it makes the plane feel a bit less real. It also depends on a zonai wing providing rear lift, which is problematic unless you can mod or know a way to make them infinite. (And I looked it up and it seems having enough fan power does the job!)
Well mine is. The original creator didn't have a gap between the motor and propeller and I chose the easy option as I happened to have this configuration in my favourites.
I got this feedback from u/Efficient_Demand5759: "I use capstan on double FESCA engine not on double stacked big wheels ; For double stacked big wheels korok pieces is enougt ( shape of X or Fish ...) but not for FESCA engine ( the extern big wheels axis easily slip out of the korok pieces ) ; it s why i use double pressed capstan plus the diameter of it is less than the hooks ( less friction with the side of extern big wheels)" So you can see this as a solution if you've already solved the korok puzzles and lost access to those pieces. Also I got better results just attaching these. Korok pieces needed to be gravity pressed or I'd get a shoddy result whereas these I could just slap on and it'd initially work. Also korok pieces are metallic and capstans are not so you won't attract thunder this way. The downside is needing 2 capstans per wheel as opposed to 1 korok part per wheel.
How do you unlock this tile? The game just says "you need to reveal the hidden enemies first" and doesn't explain how to reveal them. Thanks for nothin game
I really like this build. I've never flown with any serious armament build before but I'm getting to a skill level plateau so it's time for a rethink. Thanks for the timely post@@KingX
I was gonna experiment with this block today. Now I don’t need to test it’s weight I can go straight to building a gunship prototype that can withstand explosions.
Good and hard question. You have a choice of places to add the rail to customize flight and it has better turning if placed at the back but is wide which restricts access to narrow places such as some shown in this video. Rails give more floatiness which is good and they essentially weigh less so there's less speed penalty. This has better accessibility and you can raise/lower each fan to your preference, as well as the advertised features. One thing for sure is that this one is harder to make because of the q-link between the u-block and steering stick, though it can be done in as little as 4-5 stake nudges (I item culled for better precision). Definitely worth trying, I had fun with it!
@KingX Thanks mate! I'm gonna try this out, especially the weaponized stuff I'm looking for. It looks like a hovercraft airplane which is esthetically pleasing.
@@alexjimenez4462 I really like how it "sits" quite level in the air rather than at a 45 degree down tilt. It's making me STRONGLY consider replacing the rail hoverbike I've been using for about 1200 hours.
@@KingX To be honest, I've been using a weaponized platform to kill them. I've had a hard time with them lately, but I can Shield parry rather well. It's not perfect, but I've been able to land some tough hits using them, against Lynels.
Creator's guide to making the biplane (posted after I published this video): www.reddit.com/r/HyruleEngineering/comments/1dmn5g5/how_to_build_a_biplane/ It includes the parts I left out and how to "stake nudge" the propeller and motor.
Imagine switching your weapon at a predictable man a 5th of your size then they bend the space time continuum and move 5x their normal speed, dodging your crap and granting you death via a thousand cuts
i have a question: is there a concept of air resistance in this game?do these seesaws have an advantage besides being lightweight?how do they make the build more manuverable, compared to , say, a wing or additional fans for turning?
Usually they're used as a car anchor to lower the center of gravity which greatly increases stability and can provide extra torque. They don't react to environment at all. I made this build without see-saws and it worked but they served to balance the aircraft better for descending. Being lightweight is advantage enough though. What are the other options for large decks? Combustible wood, conducive metal or heavy stone, so this makes see-saws excellent for gunships. They make excellent "railjets" or lasercraft though.
Maybe I'll show that as well. Having a badly damaged royal broadsword or something helps for guaranteed crit damage as mounted strikes don't count against durability. You're using 3 items instead of 1 (+ using arrows) and this video is for simplicity. It's an alternative if you want to be more interesting and does have the advantage of not needing to decide between "backflip or side dodge". The thing I don't like with it is only being allowed 3 hits on subsequent mounts. Even without that nerf the most you get is 6 hits instead of 7 and flurry rush power can be boosted by weapon bonus. Still, shield parries are simpler to execute.
I was working on,a biplane for like three hours then i took,a break and went on reddit and I seen this build I was like bruh. But he did do a great job though.
I'm able to do it with fans by making the see-saws oppose each other to balance the weight, just doing it with a conventional front propeller is problematic.
Once you get the Flurry rush prompt, rapidly tap Y to execute it. It should be obvious enough because the input is shown on-screen but I should still have mentioned it. As it turns out, I'm not wearing the FULL Fierce Deity set because I forgot to switch out of my flame resist legwear after my session with the Death Mountain Octoroks, so you can expect 20% extra better damage than I show here (more if you upgrade the weapon with attack bonuses)! The opening demonstration at 0:49 IS in the complete Fierce Deity set but I was using my main weapon so expect worse than that. With the fused Royal Broadsword weapon and full Fierce Deity set the Silver Lynel still requires 4x flurry rush but the White-Maned Lynel only requires 3.
