The 3rd figure in the Starro BAF is Owlman. With just a few paint apps it looks so much better. The cowl in grey makes the figure.
You can go a step further and change the cape. Its very intricate as it has 3 layers. It even has detail on the inside of the cape.
Made of pleather, it took three layer to make the complete cape.
1. remove the cape by cutting at the seam- leave the cowl on the shoulders
2. cut the scallops that cover the shoulder, 3" and the scallops the are underneath, 4" , These can. be doubled or single sheet material. These will need a wire to pose them. Choose 3/4 not all of them.No wires for the ones on the shoulder.
3. cut the inner details , no wires and should be single sheet of pleather. Glue down on the inside
4. sew the exterior larger scallops together, tape them to hold them in place while sewing.
5. glue down the scallops over the shoulder by gluing the down with superglue under the cowl
6. cut out the main cape in a semi circle and cut he scallops. Sew in the spline for a wire.
7. glue down the interior details with superglue, the smaller scallops should be last as they are on top of the larger
8. sew the exterior group of scallops to the main cape only at the edges
9. drill two small holes in the back where the original cape was and run a wire in the cape to glue into the holes drilled
10. glue the ends of the cape under the shoulder ends of the cowl with superglue
