Ive done multiple pairs for myself and other people. Preferebly i draw on leather shoes since it gives a cleaner result the on fabric shoes. Ive worn my custom airforces in heby rain multiple times and they hold up extremely well. I highly advise anyone who tries this to treat the shoe well in the beginning and after you are done. Prepping with acetone, finishing/ clear coat (i us angelous matte acrylic finnisher) note that for the first coat go light on finnisher cuz the posca paint chould smear. This issue is resolved after you let the girst coat dry, i usualy do 3 coats and treat them when they are dry with crep protect.
@@34thcustoms if you ever mess up with the posca pens, is there a way to wash it off if you’re doing them on leather shoes or are you completely screwed?

Recommended these for customizing goalie masks, still prolly gonna do the prep work and need to put some kinda clearcoat on it, but nice to see these are good pens
Krylon Clear Matte Sealer is a great choice and my go to, it’s cheap, and lasts a long time. Do make sure to not spray in humid environments and be cautious with your coats because adding too much will cause your design to “fog” and turn everything white
