i am subscribed baby.....every time i get the alert that you made a video.....i am on it.....strait on it.....since you're in the shop and you can only do so much and the camera/phone can only be so close....i noTice that you speed up the video when fading etc.....and that's cool but only if sometimes you can just leave it regular to get a better view of the fade transitioning.....or should i say the way you get the fade to transition....I'm a big fan of you and your work. You seem very professional, knowledgeable and patient. I wish you could teach me everything i need to know about barbering......and your simple techniques! And what kind of blades are on your trimmers???? And how can i get some. I notice that they are very sharp and they don't cut the customer......I'm a perfectionist and I'm teaching myself to cut however i have terrible getting lines out. ...when i use my oster fast feed or the super taper two but i do well with the Andis fade blade but you use the designer i can't get lines out with taper blades so I'm trying to learn from you

TIGHT WORK!!! Have you used the new Wahl metal clip guards yet? I just switched to back using Wahl clippers and loving it... Just ordered 2 magic clip cordless joints to see if going cordless will be good for me after watching you cut with them... But the new Wahl metal clip guards are bananas!!! I've used Wahls before but the guards turned me away, mainly that 1 1/2 guard... Lets be real Wahl had shitty guards lol... But with these new guards they got now, I'm going all in with my seniors!!! Not getting rid of my masters but Wahl is number 1 right now!!!

I actually like watching your videos. You're so old skool and traaaade! Most of these barbers on here are, (as you said) working on individuals hair that aren't a challenge and trying to get all hollywood and animated, instead of improving their skills! I like your voice, your laid backness and just your video vibe........Oh, why do you subscribe to putting shoe polish on folk head and beard?!? I can't with that stuff, it just throws me off. Plus I am a female and I am currently in barber school, and all of the clients that I work on usually have some real interesting things going on, on top of their head! It has been a challenge to look and study what I see and make an educated guess as to what I should do to bring what I see together. As you stated, the barber schools do not teach much, and I came to realize that some of the people that work there actually believe they can hold back on you (when it comes to them teaching you) and you won't (if that is your goal) learn all that you need to. It's so sad because a few weeks ago, one of the instructors that's so petty said, "don't let anyone steal your skills".......like what?!?!? I couldn't believe he said that shit out loud..........and he's suppose to be a teacher. It's good to see people like you showcasing your work and skills for others to incorporate into their hard work. As it takes initiative and practice, if you really want to learn and perfect whatever craft, regardless of what someone would rather not teach you. Eventually you'll be in a position that you won't be able to ask or reach out to anyone, but thanks to your practice and dedication you'll figure it out with no problem!
