Great video. I had bought a pork loin recently and was just going to cut a bunch of pork chops but now I see you can do a lot more cuts! New subscriber btw
I really like your videos. It motivated me to also get primal cuts of beef and cut my own steaks. I included rib eye, top sirloin and New York Strip! I just enjoyed myself immensely. Thank you again!
I like the way you explained the Rib End of the pork loin..... like a Rib Eye steak if beef. I was little nervous cutting lengthwise to make the Country Style, but it looks good.
How is this channel not at 5K already?! Especially w/the price of meat these days & everyone wanting to save as much as possible. Cutting up your own whole pieces is sure a good place to start folks, since it's always cheaper by the pound, even better to find the bigger cuts on sale as well.
I love your videos! I have been learning to cut my own meat and was looking for a bone in pork loin, but you have so many videos I just got stuck watching them lol.
@@adifferentkindofcut oh cool! I didn’t realize the drawing was still still going on. That is a nice surprise. Keep doing what you do we all should have basic butchering skills and you make it look so easy 😂
I like to take a slice of the sirloin end butterfly it, pound it out, batter and fry to make pork schnitzel. Serve with braised red cabbage and mashed potatoes or spaetzel. Yum!!
I think your video clips are very educating knowledgeable with a lot of skills. And for me being a beginner and working a restaurant I want to learn, but I need to write twos for home to practice. I’ve been looking for knives, but they’re expensive but if I could get knives for free to help even better thank you my friend.
Good job on merchandising the boneless loin I would have added a boneless pork roast to it or a butterflied stuffed pork roast, also loin of pork makes excellent pork cutlets with all the fat taken off.
Thanks for another great video. The whole pork loins are such a great value compared to the pre-cut chops. I love cooking the rib-end roast on my smoker until it hits about 145 and slice it really thin for sandwiches.
Oh how I could use this knife! I love my pork and using this would make life easy for an old lady! lol I guess I need to learn how to sharpen a knife cause John thinks that you only need to take them to get sharpen every 6 months. I hide my good knives so he can't use them lol Thanks for another great video! Let's make Tonkatsu!!
so how big would you cut a roast from the loin end? I saw a Chef Jean Pierre video for a stuffed pork loin and this looks like a great way to source the pork.
Hey what about bone-in chops? Just started watching your video so you may address that.. but just from the beginning I already know I like you and thank you😂..
Excellent butchery. is the pork fillet in that cut? Have broken down a few beef tenderloins to get at the fillet, basically as soft as piece of meet that needs herb love. Do not have any experience with the pork tenderloin. Would you recommend bone on or boneless?
No pork tenderloin comes from the inside of the pig just like the cow. This peice of meat would be the same as a strip loin or ribeye from beef. Tge tenderloin loin is separated by a bone just like a porter house would be. You are entered in for the free knife give away
Wow!!~ Loved This demonstration... Absolutely Learned so Much!!! Thank YOU Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank Oh>>>& Pick Me I So Need Butchering Knives...And will pass them On to my Grandson who's studying to become a Chef... Also I wanted to say thank you I did subscribe I want to see you get to 5,000 as well but quit cutting off the fat If the customer doesn't want it let them tell you because I actually go in and look for the fattiest piece of pork beef or anything else so that's just a tip for you again there's so many of us that are on the carnivore or keto diet and we look for all that fat The fattier the better..
