Do you mean if you want to add pleating to it? If your answer is yes, then draft it on your no pattern paper first with this method, then go ahead and use the splash and split method to make it wider..... That is the only Way you will achieve that

You are only dividing your armhole with the number not burst measurement. Just re watch the video again
