How to cut and sew a shirt sleeve with cuff (beginners tutorial)

Please I didn't quite understand where you did the pleat, is done at any side or is there a particular position for the pleat? Again is it necessary that we have pleats there? Good day, Nancy. Thanks for sharing this but please what method did you use in getting the calculations? I measured my own sleeve length when it’s 9 inches and I got 13 inch for the round sleeve
