In this video, you will learn how to cut and sew a side cowl Bubu gown/ Abaya with a snatched waistline, balloon sleeve and a front slit. The dress has two inner belts which the wearer will tie behind to give a snatched look in front. I used Ankara fabric and sequins velvet fabric to achieve this design.

How many yards of Sequins material did you use?

If you are cutting on the straight grain with less stretch downward, you will have to use 1and half yard. But if you are cutting on cross grain with much stretch downward you can use half yard. Although with the half yard you will join and manage it if the person is tall. So if you don't want to join and manage it you should use 1 and half yard.

Shoulder to kneel length 36 is it for everybody both tall and short

No. It's not for everyone. A taller person can use 38" or 39". My client is an average height lady .You can take the measurement on your self or your client. Note that This 36" is not at the exact knee( knee cap). Its taken at about 4" above the knee.
