Hi. Thanks for watching. I am not a sound engineer and had no experience before I built my booth. I watched lots of videos of people who built booths and adapted that information for making my own booth. While I am happy with how it turned out, if I made another I would add a layer of mass loaded vinyl to stop more sound escaping. You can see my other video where I test it with a sound meter. There is only a drop of 20dbs. My advice is to watch videos of booths built for singers or try out a professional booth to see what you are aiming for. I skipped part way through because I knew that stuff from other videos. The info is good, but why is the audio echoey in a video about echo reducing foam.
Hi. The audio was recorded in a room without the acoustic foam. I used the foam to cover a small sound booth that I made to play my saxophone. It would have been good to do a before and after testing the sound but the video was just about sticking the foam to the walls since lots of people have problems with it falling off. Thanks.
