A wet saw is the safest but if you don’t have one, clamp the piece down and then try making your cut.

That wouldn’t work. I would cut it with an angle grinder fitted with a masonry blade

Nobody owns every tool. Sometimes you have to work with what you already have.

Good video for example, but having the correct tools teaches the correct technique. Ny bluestone quarrier here over 25 years and I'm still learning cutting techniques and tools of the dieing trade but I prefer my concrete cutoff saw with a diamond tip, not all blades are created equal and some are rated for certain rpm and if over or under will Hotspot the blade if not using water.
