You're welcome!! So glad! You can also try using the Knife Blade Tooling Leather 0.8mm setting More Pressure for the Glitter that has the thicker white material on the back. 😊
I tried to cut faux leather with the black deep cut blade in my cricut maker, whoow it turns fantastic! Only it needed one time cut and boom.. even the edges is so clean & neat.. 😊
Thank you for being so helpful on this! I bought hundreds of chunky glitter sheets last year and watched several tips (none worked). I totally gave up with them when I tried using almost every setting, a deep point blade, wasted my time and money. Today, with the tips on this video, I was able to cut super chunky glitter with the fine point blade and without a struggle. I almost invested in a Sizzix to cut them. THANKS AGAIN! Back to work with the chunky glitter!!
I just had to share this! So you are soooo right on with this stuff not sticking to any mat I don't care how new it is! It needs to be taped down. So I tried the Denim (Bonded) setting today and it was great but I had to run it through twice. I just took a chance on the other denim settings tonight and it was magic! I used the Heavy Fabrics (like Denim) Bonded setting and I'm not joking I only had to cut it once!
THANK YOU!!!!! this worked and I am finally making some cute bows for my daughter... exactly chunky glitter bow...your so easy and even easier to follow your instructions.. you definitely helped me
I tried this but it still pulls, even when taped all the way around. How do I stop the material bunching and pulling? The Maker stopped and I got a message to remove the material from the machine.
I followed this to a T and I am still problems I have wasted so much material... my cricut always stops and the power button turns red it never makes it past the first cut..
I have heard of people doing it so the mat doesnt get all full of glitter. I have done it and I didn't like how the edges came out. It depends on your material I'm sure. You can do a test cut to see what you think. I always just do face down with the tape.
You are welcome!! You can also try Knife Blade Tooling Leather 0.8mm More Pressure I love that setting for deluxe thick glitter with the soft backing. Thank you for Watching!
