I’m in my 40s and I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to see content with hair like mine!! Growing up in the 80s and 90s was...a struggle. Well, actually the huge hair band hair in the 80s was a great fit for me, lol. The 90s sleek era was a different story. Thank you for all your hard work!

I grew up HATING my curly hair. It was always slicked back in a pony with a thick braid. Now as an adult woman i am embracing my curls and can’t believe how much others admire them too! If I could go back I’d tell that little girl to embrace EVERY part of her 🤗 so happy I’ve found your content!!

Nice! I cut bangs a like a year or two ago, and they have grown out a bit. But for some reason those front pieces always get frizzy. Everywhere else will be fine but even if it's soaking wet and I brush it, it gets frizzy even when it's soaking.

For my hair, it’s been because the hair at my front is far more damaged than the rest. I touch it, play with it etc more than any other hair. I try to put treatments on that part of my hair and just being aware has helped me to reduce it. It’s still no where near as good as the test if my hair, but I’m trying 😂

Hey Mel, not sure if you did a video on this but currently trying to research around the internet about why some hair strands (especially at the crown area) are more coarse and black than the rest of the hair, especially if you have mostly fine. I did a big chop about a year ago, sleep with a bonnet, regularly condition and my hair is overall more healthy but these coarse strands are still growing from the top of my head and it kinda drives me insane because every time run my fingers through it, I always feel those more crunchier and wiry compared to the rest of my head :( help
