Yes. Finallly! Someone who knew the art of cutting pineapple 🍍. Not wasting the fruit at all. Normal way of cutting it. Glad that we all grew to appreciate food. Yesss. It super easy. I used to scare of the eyes ; thinking it will cut your fingers. Nahh no harm at all. Love the spiral xoxoxo
Yup! Growing up, my mother likes to cut her pineapple like that too, so that's how I learned it. Also, not even my mother does it, everybody even fruit seller does that to their pineapples. So you can get a whole pineapple with the skin or with out just like that !!
When we cut pineapple we usually just dig out the individual eyes. It takes more time but wastes less so idk. I would definitely do this for presentation purposes though. Also, try baked pineapple. It’s SO GOOD. Seriously.
A trick that I did for the pineapple eyes is I used those strawberry things where it takes the top out of the strawberry and it worked beautifully, I suggest trying it because then you lose way less fruit :)
I my pineapples like this except after cutting the first half you cut small slices along the short side that way it gives a wavy pattern an all slices. Its really pretty
I were taught to cut a pineapple like that too and when i was a kid my cousin's mother always cut pineapples like that too whenever we have a pineapple
Here where i live in Phillipines there's a Korean store and they sell canned pineapples and more canned fruits. The pineapples are in pineapple syrup and taste really good !!
From where I grew up pineapples are so common like wild fruit and it was sometimes used to plant in lines to decide border between neighbouring lands and mom used to cut pineapples in a similar method but unfortunately I am deathly allergic to pineapples
That's how street pineapple vendors in Philippines do in front of costumers when they sell the pineapples or they just sell it like that inside of a plastic:')
Ive seen this before by before i mean everyday because vendors here sell fresh pineapples and its always cut the same way but we ussually get the stick cuts instead of chunks its more enjoyable because i can put it in a stick and pretend its ice cream
Well in India(maybe other countries too, idk), the vendors use the exact same methods since my birth(I'm 20)or even before that, it's pretty cool and I love pineapples too
my mom has always had this little gadget where she has to cut off the top then let it spiral down the middle to make circles! then she used to fill the pineapple with a slushee for me and my brother:) she hasn’t done this in years though we usually get the pre-cut ones now :/
