Greaaat video Ibrahim! I'm in the process of building a receiver and power supply inside a 50 caliber ammo can and was stumped with how to cut a stainless steel panel to build its user interface panel. Thanks for uploading this. I was prepared to use a grinder with a cutting blade. Thanks for sharing this. Tim
Thank you for the video. It was very informative and helpful with enough information to solve my metal cutting problem. Some of the comments I read are just rude made by unhappy people. Ignore them and continue posting. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for this! I have a stainless steel .032 metal that I need to cut into strips and it needs to be very straight. I only have a jigsaw that can cut it and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. What kind of blade did you get to cut the metal and how long will your blade last, like about how many cuts can you make before needing a new blade? Thank you so much for posting this!!
Well done. I was hoping to stay away from my plasma and cut the sheets with my jigsaw. This short little guide made my decision for me. thanks -kyle Oh and keep the videos coming
I think I missed something. Skipped around a bit. What kind of oil was that? Good idea with the guide. Works like the guide plate on my circular saw. Just got my Jigsaw a few weeks ago and keep making things with it. Such a useful tool.
Really I'm so happy to see such videos from Arabs specially, from Kuwait! That sounds promissing dude i wish you good luck Bro. Rated and Subscribed. Waiting for your new "How To" vid.
I have the cutting tools that you have. And I am really looking someone to help me how to cut metal or wood and you help me a lot now what I need to know what kind of cutter should I get for cutting metal I got a manual cutter I think I should get a teeth like that thanks man please upload more video I am doing a project about electric bike and speaker box.. thanks again.
its cutting oil from Ace its also use for a drill bit to make it cut faster guide plate its good idea for the circular saw you must make sure its straight
I agree, less talk....more doing. I suspect that people who watches this video want to see if cutting metal with a jigsaw can be done....or how to cut straight lines in metal sheets. I don't think they need a 9 minute intro for that. Otherwise, I liked the demonstration. Now I know it's possible to cut very straight lines with a jigsaw. Also, I would have cut the piece as close to the work bench as possible while not allowing the clamps to obstruct the cutting path to reduce vibrations. Your cutting hangs out too far.
Thanks for this very interesting video. I just want to cut a small piece of copper sheet for jewellery making and wondered if I could do this with a jigsaw. Seems I can? Not sure which oil you used. Could I use almond oil or vegetable oil? Don't laugh lol but I'm a female just learning about power tools :-)
hello sorry for the late .. if the copper 1 mm 16 gauge you can cut it by by jig saw or scroll saw its easy or just by scissor hand shears .. the oil i use is threaded cutting oil .. thanks for watching
happy to hear that in future video about 2 week or less will upload video will help you more and jig saw with the metal cutting blade can cut until 3 mm !! make sure the blade its not long and short and clamp very will to less the vibration the blade its DeWalt Extreme part number 732-1 TCT this blade surprise me for cutting sheet metal !!
and im really too much happy to see some arab interest in video like this :) thanks friend will upload video soon thank you im happy for your comment !
Why is the sheet metal sticking out so far - it would seem to me that if it was clamped closer to the bench - it wouldn't be bouncing so much. The blade is only thing that needs to be clear of the bench. Didn't look very safe to me - no goggles? and way too much bouncing - maybe even clamp to a scrap piece of wood to stabilize.
Hi its threaded cutting oil brand ace hardware you can get another brand no problem at all,, the blade it's dewalt metal cutting blade easy to find it in hardware store
hi hello machine is okey metabo jig saw the strongest blade i find it is the DeWalt Extreme part number 732-1 TCT.. for 10 mm you need plasma cutter for jig saw im not sure maybe if in slow motion and more clamp to provide vibration but BE Care Full !
No luck trying to figure it out. Tried searching the Wolfcraft website but it isn't listed. For a straight cut using a jigsaw as in the video above, I guess any large universal angle would serve the same purpose once it is clamped to the metal.
its sheet metal powder coated not hard steel .. about the blade there is hundreds of blade for cutting sheet metal with the instruction with it how many Gage / mm to cut i use normal Swiss blade Hss bosh have great blade now to cut metal make sure you have cutting oil
