Very good tutorial!! Got myself a great cut and i got the length i wanted. Barbers always cut it too long or too short lol. Only downside is that its hard to make sure the scissors are positioned correctly in the mirror and ur arm will start hurting from keeping it in the air

Get some nice pictures/videos of the hairstyles and just go over them explaining the different properties of each hairstyle. This would be such a cool video :)

I first found your channel when I was trying to learn about photography equipment and it hasn't been until today when i seen your shirt in the video about motivation and discipline (which Im also going through the same struggles trying to figure out content and my set up for my RU-vid channel, that i haven't started yet and ive been saying i was going to for a year but am trying to make everything perfect before i post one and its just wasting time) that i learned that you're also a barber with you're own shop! I relate to what you share on you're channel so much because I also own a shop in the front of my house.. I do barbering, hairstyling, nails, and waxing. I have been watching many videos on RU-vid on how to cut men's hair but never worked for me, this is only video that made it easy! I managed to use this technique about couldn't believe how easy it is!

You gave a thorough idea on how hair should be cut. You look very handsome with your good haircut and blonde cut out.

I'm gonna get into self-cutting soon. I think Heather Symmes' undercut video as Part 1 and this vid as Part 2 make great reference points in starting self-cutting, especially for this style. Very simple.

Best tutorial. I like to combine this with another tutorial for a simple side fade with electric clippers, and can't be happier about results. Finding a good, honest barber is more difficult than learning from an expert like you! Wish you all the best

Saw this and went straight to work on myself. Didn't follow exactly cuz it was kinda hard and just started winging it at some point fixing it bit by bit until I got the exact cut i wanted. Ended up better than most cuts I've ever gotten at a barber.

I was always so worried about doing my own haircuts until I finally realized nobody really cares if your hair is perfect - If you have a “bad” haircut or a “good” haircut - most people don’t really notice - So I have been cutting my own hair for two years and my life hasn’t changed because of it. I’ve messed up every once in a while but I keep getting better and better.

Great video learned sections of hair and makes it easier wish I didn’t blend my sides but I learned by doing it. Take it slow and steady don’t cut to much either because when I dries it shortens up.
