How to Cut Up Fresh Clam for Bait

First! A trick on opening a fresh clam for bait is to throw it in the freezer overnight. I find it just as good as if you open it fresh but a lot less work.

put them in the freezer for 10 min they will open by them self no broken shell all over

Just use a clam knife instead of cutting it with a saw
