You sold me on this ruler when you showed the red and white (looks like a 8 point star quilt) striped pattern. I thought scrappy striped star. I know you have a pattern similar to that and that is one of the patterns on my to do list. I saw a quilt a few years ago at Iron works days with a scrappy string 8 point star in the design and it has been on my mind since. Your tutorial videos fantastic. Your patterns and your fabric lines are beautiful.

Question. You are always so inspiring and giving with all the tips to get things just right. Will the brilliant Alaska Ruler be available in the uk? I would love the kit but the import duties I have to pay on fabrics at least doubles the price. All your incredibly hard work is so appreciated . Can't wait to join the fun.

I purchased the Alaska pattern and the Alaska ruler. Neither one came with the cutting instructions that you are featuring to in this video. The ruler came shrink wrapped in plastic with no instructions. Do you have these available as a downloadable PDF?

I have a question about precision cutting with this ruler. I've noted that the lines on the ruler are 1/16" wide. Which side of the ruler line do I line up with the edge of the fabric? I've noticed when cutting the diamonds (piece 'A') that it makes a huge difference! A tiny ' nudge' one way or the other can make the piece turn out wonky.
