Thanks for the video, I was trying to replace the spring and was a little lost because the manual I have is for colapsable stock rifles. Amazing build quality of this cyma, mine has very good compresion too, getting over 400FPS with a soft spring. Using a cheap 11.1v LIPO, the trigger response and ROF are impresive.
hi pheas another very good video of a replica of the year of my birth disassembly still lived up to our expectations and without fuss in short pheas I hope one day to be able like you one day put the hand in the dough and I still hope to be able to see quality in video brief pheas hats off to you and long life to your channel cheers mate 🖤💛💖
Cheers bud i tried to split my xm and it wouldnt come apart but now you have showed us that we have to press the bolt catch has save me goinng to the nut house
really hoping to pick one of these up as my first good and proper airsoft gun once I can finally get my UKARA sorted - bloody covid has put a massive wait in there
Some nice features on there, very impressed with the extra spring and notch on the fake bolt working together with the proper hold open/ bolt release on the left hand side. The quick change spring system looks great.
They have slightly changed these again. The hop unit is now a rotary unit. The standard rubber has two prongs that contact the BB instead of a single surface, which might be good for accuracy, wouldn't know because I immediately changed out the rubber for a Prometheus purple since that is my preferred rubber for sub 360fps guns. The standard rubber felt a bit too cheap and hard in my hands, might be good for the standard 400fps the gun is sold with.
Are you able to remove the barrel and have a buffer tube with a stock instead of the fixed stock? I have a 16 inch cyma made barrel that I plan on replacing since I want to turn this into a dissipator similar to the one used in the north Hollywood shootout. Im no tech so forgive if this is a stupid question
Hi, I have got the same M16A1 and was wondering what are some great upgrades to get some more range? Found out this one doesnt hop very far when its a bit colder outside. I also shop alot from Taiwangun but dont know their upgrade brands
Hello! They are a great piece of kit it, A lot of hop rubber don't handle the cold well at all but as soon as they are warmed up a little work much better. For upgrades I would initially start with one of the Maple Leaf MR rubbers with an omega tensioner. I am at work at the moment so cant say for certain if TG have them, but they are exceptional and will make a HUGE difference to hopping. After that I would look at a better quality tight bore of your choice, but I think the hop rubber change will make a world of difference to you! Hope that helps! Pheas
love these videos so much keep up the amazing work. Also pheas do you know any good 8.4v or 7.4v batteries that are 2200 mah and a good charger for them?
Hiya. If you are in the UK (actually I think they deliver to Europe) I use component shop.. here is a link to their Airsoft specific 8.4v packs. They do up to 5000mah ones! www.componentshop.co.uk/batteries/batteries-airsoft/batteries-airsoft-84v-packs.html Hope that helps! Pheas
I have one of these m16’s however mine won’t shoot, I believe I have all the parts, I’ve taken apart and put it back together numerous times yet I can’t understand what the issue is. My friend thought I may be missing an o ring or rubber ring somewhere in the hop up. But I’m not sure where there is supposed to be one. The mags go in fine yet the billets either don’t fire or half fire dribbling out the barrel. I know it isn’t the gearbox as the air properly compresses but doesn’t push the bb through the barrel. What may be wrong with it?
Hiya. If the compression is good in the gearbox and the gearbox is cycling (actually making the normal shooting sound) then three things come to mind.. either the tappet plate and nozzle are broken / not working together to allow the BBS into the barrel, the air nozzle is broken in some way which is stopping the feeding or the hop rubber itself is damaged and causing jams (could be just the hop is set too high too. Try taking the upper off and shooting the gun and watch the air nozzle if you can see it going in and out then it could be a damaged nozzle or the rubber at fault. Pheas
hi Pheas! regarding the gas tube, why is it metallic in color, should it be black as on the real thing? and does it actually help the gun as I want to remove it, thanks for reading.
Hiya. To be honest... I have no idea why it's Metallic, I don't think I've seen many black ones in Airsoft in general. But it's not needed for anything (at least not functional wise anyway) they are just cosmetic items. Pheas
Hello! I believe the mosfet in this had the same early teething issues, but that seems to largely have been resolved now with the new ones, but rock solid other than that. Pheas
Hello! If you are in the EU then I would look at Taiwan Gun. If you are US based then I would take a look on probably Evike. In the UK I think Patrol base carry it, but not sure of anyone else. Glad you liked the video!! Pheas
quick question, the cm128 hi-capa. is there anything inside the trigger? i plan on drilling some holes through to give it that look but obviously dont want to damage a link or something
Honestly... I don't know enough about pistols to be able to say for sure. It I would have thought that it is a cast piece of metal so in theory you should be safe... But, drilling of holes in it may cause it to loose structural integrity and weaken and you may snap the trigger. Sorry I couldnt be more help! Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft thanks anyway, i did some exploring and no, i cannot drill holes due to there being a pivoting metal piece inside the trigger that actuates the trigger bar about halfway up the trigger, and also another piece at the bottom which appears to be some sort of rear guide... looks like i could possibly have a hole between the bottom and middle, but anywhere else would interfere with the trigger mechanism so im thinking i will just leave it as is. many thanks for taking the time to reply though. much appreciated
It was Taiwan gun but this model is out of stock at the moment unfortunately... If you are in the UK (or EU and willing to pay shipping) I am selling mine.. feel free to contact me via social media or email on pheasairsoftyt@gmail.com. pheas
now i dont know where to look when my cyma m16a1 went *FHIZZTZZZ in mid match while shooting and never worked again i'm assuming a gear problem but i'm not sure any help?
You can indeed fit a suppressor. The muzzle break will unscrew (negative thread so it will unscrew like you would screw something in) and it will take a normal 14mm negative suppressor (which most are) Pheas
Hello! Pistol grip is a no as the airsoft ones are thicker to accomodate the motor, a GBBR would accept (so I am lead to believe) the real pistol grip, but cannot confirm myself. The stock... I am not sure on to be honest, not sure how they attach in the real thing. Pheas
The CM00B is a replica of the M16A1 and the CM009C is a replica of the earlier initial US Army issue XM16E1 that eventually led to to M16A1. Main differences: XM16E1: Early buttstock with no trapdoor and articulated rear sling loop Partial fence lower receiver without mag release guard Three prong flash hider M16A1: Updated buttstock with trapdoor and fixed rear sling loop Full fence lower receiver with mag catch guard Bird cage type flash hider.
@@PheasAirsoft is the XM177 lower the same as this one? with the buffer tube preattached? or is it a different style EDIT: yes it is, now to find either model in stock for cheap or used even
@@PrivateFrog-yd3vm I didn't for the moment, a friend suggested to remove the front handgard and ring, then to try to make the axis move with a hammer ... still haven't tried it
@@PrivateFrog-yd3vm mine is the colt 653 version, but I have a pre serie model I won with taiwangun ... so mine doesn't have a C clip on the axis, if the method I said earlier works, send me a notification 😊
Hiya. Evike have them listed here www.evike.com/index.php?cPath=21_672_1110_1112&sort=3a&filter_id=70 but have several different models so not sure which this one ha specifically. Hope it helps thought. Pheas
