But I am just a village girl who used to compete on the streets with boys from the city they didn't take me serious at first and I swore since I was little no one on earth will ever Dance better than me. Every time someone dismissed me I performed better. Now I can make up moves from other people's moves. In Africa especially in the ghettos and slums are very talented children the world is going to be shocked when we come out. It is a good question thou! There is a bunch of dance styles with different dance moves for the guys vs the girls so as a beginner it would suck practicing so much only to find out later to have worked on the "wrong" moves haha

Yes most of mainstream African dances are pretty much Ndombolo and Makossa, but most of the moves during the freestyle were a mix of Pantsula from South Africa and Kuduro from Angola. Just chill out and celebrate that African dance styles are being put on the map period!
