I used to look up to celebrities when I was younger. Now I look up to men like John MacArthur and RC Sproul, but of course, all credit and glory go to God. Edit: Oh my gosh, people. I'm not saying I worship R.C. He is my mentor in regard to studying and learning scripture. There's nothing wrong with admiring other people as long as it doesn't become an idol in our lives. I know this. It's basic faith 101. Now, please, stop telling me to "only look to God/Christ" because I don't idolize the man. I even say that all the credit goes to God. I know that at the end of the day, we must emulate our life after Christ. Thank you, and God bless. Jesus is Lord.

God gave me this sermon in my time of need. I need to trust in the Lord fully and rid myself of my false sense of control. Give it to God.

I’m a Muslim. I found Dr Sproul on RU-vid while I was searching philosophy subject. He helped me a lot. I keep coming listening to his sermons every time I think of him. Rest in peace.

This was good. I deal with lots of anxiety from mental health issues..it def helps to have faith during these times to counter the unreasonable thoughts. I know God got my back💯

I am a physician I deal with people everyday with stress and anxiety I. Consul with them Prescribe medicine when appropriate But I witness to them must I witness to them about Jesus It is a sin to worry Give it to god There is a big difference between worry and concern But put our trust in god he will provide But stress is a killer It affects every system in our body Blood pressure Sleep Our heart Our minds Caused depression Heart attacks Strikes Headaches Tension Ability to cope As Christians Don’t worry about tomorrow God promises all believers eternity with god But god will provide all our needs

Isn’t it AMAZING that only GOD ( through men like R.C.Sproul) can do for us that nothing else in this universe can even come close to do, to calm us ,relieve our fears, anxieties , and worries. Oh what anAWESOME GOD WE SERVE.

I do feel like most people's issues were from childhood and we cannot remember it. This was a great sermon.

R.C. Sproul had such a beautiful countenance ......ever notice ? --- the gentleness,kindness &compassion -- the love ....the comes through & is visible in this man's face is what first drew me to him to listen .

My anxiety attacks are the horrors of hell on earth. Pray for me. I just got woke up with my whole body in a violent way. I do not know how to fight this.

Oh my Gosh, he was such a remarkable minister. No other pastor could keep my attention like RC could. I've been freaking out for two days; barely eating, barely sleeping. I feel like God himself led me to this video, from THIS minister whom I have so much respect for.

I think most people struggle with anxiety in their lives, and it is often difficult to deal with it, however, the words of Jesus encourage us to walk by faith, not by sight, putting our complete trust in the Lord. This should be something we need to remember and incorporate into our attitude. Saved by grace, redeemed by the Lord, our sins forgiven, our lives transformed.....etch this into your minds. The number one fear I have is Yahweh. The second greatest fear I have is that many of the people that think they know Jesus will hear Him tell them that He never knew them. To clarify, I don’t truly have fear about that truth, because I know that the Lord will not lose anyone that is His, but I do fear me hearing those same words due to my disobedience in regards to sharing the message of repentance. All that being said: repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand.

I love RC Sproul. He is one of the biggest influences in my life.

Praise my personal Savior sweet Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and for this remarkable amazing, wonderfully uplifting, encouraging message that He knows I needed to hear and meditate on one of my favorite verse : 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. as a divorced, single mother(depression, mild anxiety, PTSD, bipolar) of 3 special needs children ranging from 16 years old son with ADHD, 12 years old daughter with Dyslexia, and a 6 years old son with Autism. A prayer for our family is very much appreciated for the Lord had tested me and I'm not proud to say but I had failed Him more than I can count yet He never fail keeping His promises in sustaining us even the most challenging, heartbreaking times of our lives. Thank you in advance and may the good Lord continues to tremendously bless your ministry in planting and watering these seeds so that one day it will bear fruit...like it did with me today.

Something I've personally learned over the years is that there are times in our life when we feel like we are in some sort of trouble or a bad situation that no good can come from it. God sees into the future so far that we cannot possibly imagine. If we let Him, none of our troubles or tough times are wasted. Dont worry!

I LOVE R.C."s lectures, I have listened to dozens of hours. his intellect and capacity to think so profoundly has enabled me to also ,albeit on a lesser degree.

I was struck by an SUV, back in 2018. I was always afraid of Elevators, but I still rode them. However, since then, I will not step into one, without someone being in there with me. My Doctor said, that is because I am afraid of not being able to escape, if I were to ever get stuck. Just like I wasn't able to escape, being hit by the SUV. I think often of facing my fear and to just try it, by myself. However, when it comes time to actually do it, the fear overwhelms me. Please pray for me. May God bless, all of you!

I am currently having health issues that doctors are unable to diagnose me with. Stomach issues, it gets worse with anxiety. I have an important meeting tomorrow and my anxiety is over the roof. Pray for me please i dont know how to manage my anxiety and fear.

I just stumbled upon R C Sproul a few short years ago and he explains the gospel in such a way that it's easy to understand. He's by far the most dedicated, educated and funny pastor/theologian I've ever seen. I am so thankful that I found him.Praise be to you Lord Jesus Christ!

Jesus Taught us..”Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” If we forgive the past..Live ToDay..and Trust God for tomorrow. We will have less anxiety and Life will be easier.

What a timely message. I will never overcome fear, but I can accept God's grace daily, which will help me live in peace while going through hardships. Lord, take my thoughts captive and let me focus on you and your promise. Give me wisdom and endurance to run the race.

Thank you. But we see calamities happen to human beings, from which we are not exempt. I think we should say, with God I will be okay, whatever happens to me and my loved ones. Because also, whatever happens to me, is what God has willed.

RC Sproul was a true legend. A great Apostle of God. Never missed any of his teachings.

We worry about insignificant thingd thet that really do not matter. Think about grand things like eternity in the glorious magnificence in the presence of our Lord Christ Jesus.

I deal with anxiety by examining the cause and resolving it.

The Lord doesn’t say do not FEEL afraid, he says do not BE afraid. The difference is not only profound but the implications include the solution to anxiety disorders of all kinds.

Amazing, great teaching

It’s not so much that I don’t believe God will do what He Promises but I’m afraid He will and I find myself not liking that and fearful He will hold me accountable and remove what He has already given to me. So in fear, I find myself running into the waters of Christ, the Goodness of God and I’m reminded of His Kindness in the past. In these moments I find He is enough and my worries about losing all things for Him becomes ok. In the morning I find Joy, Peace and Love at my beside waiting to walk with me through that day.

A great mind missed by all familiar with him.

When RC past on to glory, I felt like I lost a dear friend. A friend I never met in person.

I find it absolutely amazing that questions i ask my self daily or question my daily problems. And i always get an answer later when i either read the Bible or watch RC or MacArthur. It strengthens me to see God answers in real ways.

Amen Sproul. We tend to get too anxious about everything, we just need to let it go and trust in The Lord. If Christ is with us than who can be agianst us, there is no reason to fear, let our hearts not be restless. God bless you all.

For the last 40 years no preacher speaks about how we supposed to lead our lives as unmarried men with nonchhildren. The feminists and bad economic opportunities have lead to massive single numbers in my generation

God grace is sufficient. I have experience lots of anxiety. But slowly after listening to his faithful people like Rc sproul, john MacArthur, steve lawson, paul washer, voddie, justin peter and Susan i have the courage and shown me the right path. God has enriched me with his true words and blessed me more and more. Glory to him 🙏🙏

That common fear of man being anxious about not being able to provide for his loved ones is true for me. Though I’m not married, nor do I have kids, neither do I want that, I feel an obligation to be the provider of my parents.

So we know that anxiety is a sin. Then what about those who have anxiety disorders? Are they being disobedient or sinful for something thats not their fault? I dont think thats what Jesus meant by do not fear
