Raj, at one point Dr. Sarthank was about to tell his own experience. He also started saying that 'I will tell you mere sath Kya hua' and you interrupted him by your question or comment. Then the discussion went on the other track. During the next podcast with him, please let him complete his thought process. Otherwise the session was amazing and you were extremely honest with your questions, curiosity everything. Well done Raj.

It’s a great talk. I’m Doctor and I am an Oncologist. After listening to this talk, I realised that these days cancer is also a very important topic to discuss and make people aware. I have treated many patients of cancer and observed them very closely. Emotions, spirituality, lifestyle, cancer as taboo, all are common things to discuss and i had studied a lot on these during dealing with such patients. I also have a desire to talk on these issues on your platform, in your podcast, if you feel right.

Really important podcast for us to watch as a society so that we can emerge out of our own generational trauma affecting our behavior patterns and reactions and responses. Only then we can stop propagating the emotional physical abuse to next generation. The therapist/ doctor is really good at explaining terminologies and has great clarity. He is being empathetic without emotional involvement. He is stating facts without sugar coating. I pray for this podcast to go viral. Trauma is inner pain, a psychic wound, a wound on your soul invisible to medical world, only visible to you. Acknowledge it, be with it, accept it, lean to it with compassion, feel it fully, welcome the pain, breath in and breath out on top of it, make prayers for this wound, bring this wound to your consciousness, it feels like another part of your psyche integrate with this part, talk to it, embrace it...... isn't it all the healing modalities listed below addressing the same simple principle of feel the feelings fully and let it complete in your body and experience:- 1. TRE (Trauma Release Exercise) 2. Somatic Experiencing 3. Somatic Practicing 4. FOCUSING 5. VIPASANA 6. Embodying 7. Eckhart-shining light of consciousness 8. Shadow integration 9. Completion exercise 10. Compassionate Inquiry 11. Tapping 12. WuWei wisdom Acceptance 13. EMDR 14. Yoga 15. Inner Child healing 16. Gratitude Journal 17. CBT 18. Talk Therapy 19. IFST 20. MDMA 21. @khansherani
@khansherani 17 дней назад
@@dkaur454 The first step was to know what is going on. My emotions were not in control, very high when comes to sadness and grief and low for joy and happiness. Consistent sadness in heart may be classical definition of depression and med will prescribe anti-depressant, like my brain has chemical imbalance. But my thoughts were perfectly OK, only my body was having sensations that I can best interpret as sadness, grief, fear, stuck emotions, brain confusion etc etc..... The finding what is going on took me 5 yrs. Once I had a clarity that this is my trauma issue, stuck emotions issue, I focused on trauma therapy, mainly IFST and SE (Inner Family System Therapy and Somatic Experiencing) it took gradual healing, but clearly leaving body and mind healing to time..which is popular prescription by most in India, to get healed automatically didn't work for me FEEL the FEELING fully, be patient and courageous to feel pain fully with all positive, loving compassionate msg to send to the troubling feelings from present moment as an adult self now finally gave very good results, I would say like 90% still my healing journey is continue but I can say truly that for me truly worked 3 things. 1.Getting education on Trauma, 2. Taking a strong and committed stand for healing, 3. Applying SE and IFST intently.
@khansherani
@khansherani 17 дней назад
One clarity, this feel the feeling should be while remaining always in the body, not thinking or not in mind. It is like doing body-based meditation, like vipassana. Doing Breathing exercise like you are inhaling through ur feelings in the body and exhaling into the feelings in the body. It does takes time, subtle shifts happen to your feelings, it is like growing a plant you can see a progress in weeks or months, but certainly progress will be there.

Such a brilliant podcast, so needed for indian society. I have been at the receiving end and can so vouch for what Dr is saying about suppressing emotion. I was in perfect health until 26 and post that i was married and was told directly and indirectly on a consistent basis to supress and hide my views, thoughts and emotions. Which resulted in many physical ailments which i managed but what i could not manage was the sleep disorder for 7 years for which i was also told ...hota hai sab ke saath hota hai..isme kya badi baat hai...but i just could not cope up and did myself a favor by consulting a doctor and now have been on medication for 4 years. This family and society conditioning is still operating in a loop. Thanks for this podcast.

So true when he said emotional pain causes physical pain too.. I was going through sonething traumatic from last one week.. Luckily I was at home and had all the time to feel each and every emotion.. I was crying, consoling myself, tried to analyze the situation, tried to find a logical reason behind my pain but I couldn't come up with a reason and felt like I should just feel everything I was going through.. My body felt weak, my bones were aching, my eyes were dry after all the crying. I didnt get up from bed for first three days.. I ordered food but didn't feel like having it.. But after 5days I am mentally and emotionally at a better place.. I cleaned the entire house, I cooked myself dinner and today I am feeling light.. Im feeling calm.. So my advice to anyone who is going through an emotional pain is to stay with your emotions, take a break from life and feel whatever you are feeling instead of denying the emotion or suppressing it.. Wishing a happy life for all.. 💐

Actually there is an emotional first aid kit named as psychological first aid, it is a free small course in coursera where everyone can learn this and help people around is not about giving therapy but giving support. I hope this comment reaches out to everyone and people consider learning psychological first aid

Keep your actions and Emotions separate Take necessary actions, without worrying about the emotions that come along with it. Try and be more logical when taking a decision Keep your emotions out when making a decision. Leave that toxic relationship Leave it for yourself You have taken that decision, hazar cheeze soch ke liya hai yeh decision, trust your decision Dont become desperate for just a little time's happiness. Stay firm on your decision. 1-2-3 months ke baad sab sahi hojaayega. Give it time. We get an additional person in our life for love, peace and growth, & if that is only lacking, its time you leave If you are getting exhausted, trying to make the relationship work, then it's time you leave In your relationship, if your before stage is better than the after stage, then leave. Before and after relationship - the general feeling - same or worse; worse - leave If the relationship has started affecting you mentally and physically, its time you leave If you have started feeling bad about yourself, have yourself feeling more worse than good being in that relationship, it's time u leave You don't get into a relationship to suffer, you get into a relationship to prosper. If you can't figure out what you want, figure out what you don't want. Feel good about yourself, you will become 100% attractive. Not able to feel things or anything is a sign of depression.
