Go get this bloodwork: vitamin D, TSH for thyroid issues, and ferritin levels (don’t rely on iron tests..you must check ferritin). If any of these come back abnormal, let me know and I’ll tell you what to do/take. Also, something that you can take right away for anxiety is magnesium citrate powder..mix it in water and it helps immensely with anxiety. If you live in the US and can order off Amazon..trace minerals liquid multivitamin helps A lot with anxiety. One capful a day and if you get that then you don’t have to take magnesium powder because it has magnesium along with everything else that you need. A deficiency in magnesium alone will cause terrible anxiety. Hope this helps. Also, What illness was your son diagnosed with if you don’t mind me asking?

I did get bloodwork done and everything was fine except i had very low vitamin D and ferritin and i've started taking one multivitamin and d vitamin and iron every day now. How long will it take until the levels get higher in the blood for d vitamin and iron and effectiv? He has epilepsy.

@@ms-lo4gfIm glad you got the blood work! Good job!! I had a strong feeling the d3 and ferritin was off. For vitamin D deficiency, I recommend taking 5,000 ius everyday for one month then get retested. It takes a couple weeks for levels to rise. Also, keep in mind D3 is a fat soluble vitamin meaning you need to eat it with food containing at least some fat. Make sure you take a magnesium supplement with it because it’s very important when you take d3 to take magnesium (levels can drop with d3 supplementation). It can take some time to build ferritin stores, several months. I recommend ferrous sulfate or ferrous fumurate drops or liquid form taken on an empty stomach with vitamin C. Vitamin C increases absorption. I would only take no more than 70% of your daily value since it can be toxic in high doses. Another great option is to get desiccated liver capsules and take that instead which people absolutely love and have reaped benefits from. That way you will get a natural source of iron without dealing with any unpleasant side effects like stomach issues or constipation. Eating liver has now been said to be a superfood and has so many benefits. Try to eat liver 3 times a week. One serving gives you 70% of your daily iron requirements! not to jump back on the vitamin D train again, but vitamin d deficiency has been linked with epilepsy as well. Can you get him tested as well? @@lilly-lk3mp thank you so much for your beneficial advices. I will look more into it. He is 4 years old, i give him multivitamins everyday, will that be enough d vitamin? He's had an EEG that showed some activity and an MR Scan that showed that the brain looks good and all but in the left side at the bottom it curves a little bit more than usual (that's how the neurologist explained it to me) but she also said that it may not be the reason he has gotten epilepsy because healthy people without epilepsy can also have a brain that looks like that. So we don't really know why and how he got it suddenly. Do you know anything about that? I live in Europe can I order off Amazon from here? Is it the vitamins?

@@ms-lo4gf You’re welcome! I’m glad I can help. Normally, In multivitamin supplements, they barely add vitamin d. He needs around 2000 ius and a minimum of 1000ius daily. You can check the label and see how much is in there, but I can almost guarantee it’s probably no more than 300 ius. It’s best to check his levels to see if he’s deficient and how deficient he is. Also, not to keep getting on the vitamins D train, but it has been linked to epilepsy and there are many articles and peer reviewed studies showing the correlation between vitamin d deficiency and how it impacts brain electrical activity. Remember, vitamin d is actually a hormone and has over 3,000 biochemical functions in the body. Also, an omega 3 supplement is very important in managing seizures to help support brain health and has high anti-inflammatory benefits. I like liquid vitamins in any case because they are better absorbed. I know that Amazon delivers to Europe, but I don’t know if I recommend a particular supplement if they will have it 🤔 Amazon products vary according to region. One last thing, make sure you avoid giving him chocolate because it contains caffeine and can trigger an epileptic event. Stick to a whole food’s type diet with him and avoid added sugar, grains, dairy, and legumes. I would recommend a paleo type diet. Hope this helps. @@falaknaaz7547 Psoriasis falls under the category of autoimmune disorders. You have to tackle the root cause in order for her condition to heal, most of which starts in the gut. My first question I always ask is..has she gotten tested for d3 deficiency? The reason I ask is because vitamin d3 deficiency can cause autoimmune disease. If she is deficient, she needs to take 5,000 ius daily with magnesium citrate because you can go deficient in magnesium if you take d3. You can also put her on a leaky gut diet. It’s basically a diet that consists of cooked vegetables, meat, small amount of tubers like potatoes or sweet potato. No dairy, grains, soy, or anything artificial. she will have to remain on this diet for 90 days then she can switch to a more paleo type of diet. If the diet is working, she should see results within a few weeks. She should also take a high quality liquid multivitamin supplement, 1000 mg of vitamin C, a high quality probiotic (this should be taken after 1 month has passed on the diet), and make sure to get some exercise like light walking.
