In my experience, if you come into chat level headed most people tend to calm down. It's only really an issue when people want to blame you specifically, so you feel the need to be defensive on instinct because obviously if you're getting blamed you don't want to hear that. Sometimes people just want something to be mad at, if they just get angrier I tend to mute and just communicate with the rest of my team.

That Reinhardt reminded me of a guy i played a few months ago, who would charge into the entire enemy team and then blame every single person besides himself for dying.
I barely play this game now, it is 💩 but when I do there is always toxicity on my server which is only slurs disregarding the game . At most Id just use their own logic and words against them it makes them look like fools. Anyways keep up with the content bro
I do not care about the meta anymore in overwatch because taking a game with this many fundamental issues seriously is like believing gambling takes skill. And it is not gonna get better thanks to blizzard. 💩

Step 1 of getting better in OW: expect your teammates to always to always be shitters. step 2: never join voice. step 3: always think about how u could improve (since your team will always be shitters) instead of blaming them.

I had the reinhardt Kenshiro on my team twice when I was playing support and he would always blame supps and dps and not himself when he was getting completely diffed. Glad to see him featured in this video
Im glad your taking accountability for your actions sometimes. Overwatch does this to everyone and honestly I commend that. Not many people own up to their mistakes

Right off the bat i see a crucial mistake on your dooms part at like 1:30 where they throw bob on point, the doom could’ve slammed on top of point and punched the bob away and cap the point, bob is not classified as a tank hero so despite him looking like he’d have the tank passive, he will be treated like a regular squishy
It makes zero sense to instantly be negative towards your team? Like you think it helped your team the 100 times you’ve done it before no they just hate you. It’s so stupid how people want to win yet they do the thing that makes them lose.
When I notice I'm starting to get toxic my immediate reaction is to turn the game off, I know if I keep playing my entire days gonna be bad so I just try not to engage, plus I'm to poor to own a headset so that helps
I thought i could get into comp. I only played 6 dps matches (placed silver) and our fucking tank kept bitching, moaning, and crying in chat. It is true that Widow was dominating but instead of counterplaying he'd rather flame us in chat. I just ignored him and because of our god kiriko we came back and won despite only having 10 seconds so we were on overtime the whole time.
Doom just shouldn't be a tank, he does good as dps because he doesn't need to play with the team. If we have a doom giving then backshoots the front line cant do shit (unless doom i shitting on them good)
People better be careful with being toxic on overwatch now. I recently got silenced in game because i used "abusive chat". Im not going to lie, I /can/ be toxic sometimes but i personally feel its no where near as bad as a lot of other people ive met on the game. The most ive done is say "fuck" or threaten someone with a good time. I still managed to get silenced though. I personally feel more and more actual children are playing the game lately. When they lose, they'll report you for anything they can in an attempt to get you banned.

Im normally a calm and positive person, but the moment i hop on OW, I turn into the anti-christ, putting people on blast, sometimes justified, sometimes for the memes. It mostly happens to hitscan players, hog and ball mains, mercy mains and especially to people who insta lock moira.
Most recent match I played, dps weren't doing anything so tank and I were carrying, I had like 4 kills while dps had 0 and tank was doing great. My healing stats were also great and then ma dude say "Moira sucks" in chat, while he had like 0 kills and 4 deaths, while being healed into oblivion by both supports!! They ALWAYYSSS blame support even if they are doing the most stupid stuff one can imagine.
This game dude, ever since overwatch 2 i've been getting suspended for talking back to these idiots obviously i reported them too and they also got some sort of punishment according to blizzard. But dude i think i am going to totally stop playing or mute all chats. People in this game are despicable.
