is it better to use yarn over embroidery floss? i feel like it looks closer to hemp cord and may look more authentic on faux dread locs what do you think?

How long would these be able to stay in? I've had my braids in for a week now and I'm hoping to get 2 weeks out of them, but when I next do them I want to finish them in cords rather than elastics. Would they last the 2 weeks, including getting wet from the shower or would I need to change them?

@@cicislife1147 basically because your hair grows, and so the braids are pushed away from your scalp and not at an equal rate, also the fly always (broken strands etc) mess up the established braids

@@Raven.flight from watching videos. I'm going to get very few curls scattered in my braids so that it'll last but still have that Bohemian look. Once the curls get bad, I'll cut them out and crotchet some curly pieces back in
